    I was thinking the same and seeing Intel reacting the way way they did for me is just a confirmation of that they're still living in a fairytail, they will maybe keep the gaming part but for everyday use the x elite chip will win and others just for the battery life, i've been using windows since i'm a kind and won't go to apple (too different) but will definitely go to the snapdragon just for the effeciency having 2 hours of battery life in 2023 is just a shame

      That's exactly it! Windows users should easily be swayed to try a different chipset. I'm super excited to see what Snapdragon can do! I hope the companies using the chip do it justice! DELL, HP, ACER, etc.

      @@GeekyStuff Apparently Intel's fall will even be faster I've just seen the Microsoft ignite keynote and they're now making their own ARM CPU for their cloud services 😳😳😳😳 completely crazy right?

    Intel should have been investing heavily in their own, non-ARM RISC design for the last two decades, but they just refused. Now they're done for.

    Snapdragon X Elite beat Apple M3 and Intel i9 14th gen

  • @Christobanistan
    @Christobanistan 9 месяцев назад

    The X Elite is achieving that performance using far more power than the M2, so I'm not impressed. After they throttle it to reduce power before release ("optimize" it, as they're saying), I'm skeptical it'll be so impressive.

      @@mounorman Snapdragon as a company I believe will surpass AMD in the Windows laptop space. Why? Well for a start, the Snapdragon benchmarks beat Intel, but they also beat Apples M1, M2 and M3 by the looks of early results. This is my opinion obviously, but I do really believe Snapdragon will be a force to reckon with in the Windows Laptop space. You can see the laptop market is way overcrowded with Intel. It's time for change and if Snapdragon do it right, they'll smash it. Just like they are in the Smartphone market.

      Qualcomm said up to 80% better performance then the Ryzen 9 7940HS while consuming less power and, the second Summit day,they also showed a bunch of games that will come out optimized for Snapdragon. The worth noting titles (for now) are: Minecraft, The Sims 4, Control, Warframe, World of Tanks, Sniper Elite 5 and Baldurs Gate III, but the complete list is longer. I think this Soc has great potentials for gaming, also considering the RT capability and upscale software technology.
