Just picked up a triton for $90 at an auction... no power chord/adapter... at the time had no idea if I got a great deal or not... Broken joystick... happy to say it powered up and worked great. I heard this... and am sold... love what you did. Didn't hurt that one of your first tunes was one of my favs... ( I can only imagine) Thanks. : ) Now I just have to sell my old sequential Circuit stuff. Great sample of what the triton does.
When I began playing piano, I used the korg le triton 88. When I stopped playing this instrument because another pianist took my place I missed my triton le a lot. You will be missed!😢😢
A few of the sounds were a little bit reminiscent to my Trinity. Are use mine mostly in a worship setting, but I use a program set that some people when they find out what exactly it is that I am using, they think it’s a little weird. But I use an M1 piano preset on my Trinity with some VDF filters to kind of exaggerate the velocity of my playing a little bit. So when I play lightly it is super soft but when I start digging into the keys, it really changes the sound.y. It’s a testament to how well Korg builds their instruments. I realize that this model is quite a bit newer than what I have, but even my Trinity, which were sold new in 1997, I bought it used, is still sounding pretty good and doesn’t sound dated in my opinion. Their instruments don’t really go out of style I don’t think.
Well, first things first: you're a hell of a player !!! Congrats !! :-) Now, second first thing, your Le seems damn well tuned and tweaked, I have a TR (that shares same tech as Le) and ... well, some of the sounds you 'presented' are new to me, I must confess. Did you build your custom progs and nice combis ? Do you have some to share as example ? What I 'like less' ?? A static image instead of a live act with the instrument, but that's my personal opinion. Great, good work !! Cheers.
Hey, Rui Arelio! It's been 4 years since I sold the Triton..some sounds were customized. Triton and TR are powerful keyboards if you learn to make your sounds. I don't remember much from Triton, because I change the brand..a few times - Roland, Yamaha... now I play with Mainstage + some plugins and a Kronos (at church)..but the kronos it is new for me (different from Tr/Triton), and for now i use that key only as a controller. My advice for your future is to put your hands on Mainstage! :-) It's beyond any dream..especially if you like to make your original sounds.
I'm a newbie in this area, and ... well, during week it's work and work and more work ... I hardly have time to put my hands on the TR, I must confess, and it will take time to learn how to shape sounds like this ... one day I'll get there LOL. I love your piano and EP sounds in this presentation, were they from external samples ? Have you kept pcgs and samples or so (nice tutorials?) in your archive that you could share somehow ? That Mainstage tool seems very a damn nice productivity tool!! I'm not a mac user, but I know it's were the great software is. Hope you master the Kronos, it seems to be a great machine! Thanks for your reply, it was a pleasure!! Cheers !! :-)
Hello my friend, if possible, can you post the steps I need to make to put my Triton LE back into multi mode so that I can get back to using it with digital Performer as a master controller to in-put midi data? You see I moved and had to disconnect it and the LE doesn't save that kind of stuff. Thanks and I can sure use some help here.
Does it really have these sounds!?! If so, Oh my Goodness, im so happy. if its okay for me to ask, could you tell me which sounds are under which number? in the format of like C07 or B36. just like how it pops up on the little screen onkeyboard? Thank you for posting this. 8D
Hi friend, a question what piano is that, can you tell me? (number or name in the machine( because I remember the tipically "triton acoustic piano" sounds different. Regards!
BonetMax, sorry but i've sold the keyboard a few years ago. You are right, the tipical piano is no so nice..but you can customize some pianos to sound good.
+silV Hi bro, no problem! it was what I needed to know, because in september I'll buy a Korg Triton Classic 61 and I want to edit the factory pianos like you. Well, I have a Kurzweil SP4-8, so the Triton piano's aren´t very important than leads and pads for me. Regards from Chile and thanks for the reply!

And , just to make my first question more clear, are these sounds programmed in the keyboard already?
The sounds are programmed in the keyboard, but I tweeked a little to sound good for my ears. :)
Los AP son internos del korg? O usas samples?
I dont speak spanish.. but i used only internal sounds.
i can only imagine... what it will be like ... i love that song - have one of these piano my mom bought quite a few years ago ... wish i could play =|
