I use this method sometimes, but if you go to file manager inside your host, sometimes you will see folders from old plugins and etc. Now, I go to my host and delete my database and inside my file manager and delete everything. Also I sometimes delete wordpress and install again, especially if I am migrating a new website to that address. I noticed it helps with a lot of issues. I wonder if I could find a plugin that would really clean left behind folders and etc..
I just did this and somehow ruined everything. Clearly it was meant to go back to what it was originally, but now I have no access to the page. I cant edit anything now. I can only look at it like someone who doesnt own it. Now I have to fight to try to get ahold of an actual person to find a solution. Im so frustrated. I dont even know where to go from here. I followed everything through, but when I did the reset with the WordPress Reset plugin, it deleted my admin user, so now I can't log in to my wp-admin account. Please help.
A cool video but you better should have warned that the migrated website should not be greater than 250-300 MB, otherwise we had to pay for another plugin ?
@@ferdycom Thanks for responding! No I wasn't able to do anything it seems, proper buggered it somehow. Must've been something I did wrong. Anyway, I had to use a website backup from my provider, which has just fixed it. Which gives me assurance, so maybe I'll try again ha!

For deleting you don't need to unselect the activated plugin. It will stay there, saves time :)

eventually wpress support will get you access but yes this is so frustrating that it deletes your account too
