      Go to your windows settings and put the lowest res, doesnt matter the black bars, then go to your intel command center and in “scale” select “stretched then return to the display settings and return to 1920x1080 and then u can stretch ur laptop display without the black bars and continue with the instructions in the video

      @@MarinKitagawa2 I only know for sure that these two work but you could try smtg like 1440x990. Anything that divides to about 1.45 should work

      ⁠​⁠@@yuukivlr_one question, is sens in game affected by these 2 res in the video ? Many gamers said that the sens would not correct when u used true stretch. For example, 1600dpi - 0.17 sens but when we use true strectch, it feels like it’s not 0.17 anymore

      @@nguyenchicuong1381 it is still 0.17 at 1600 but because the fov is lower it’s going to feel like the game is faster. That’s at least my understanding of how it works

      Thanks sm! Also yes u have to repeat this when u launch the game, but u just do it right when u boot and then it works until u close the game. I always re enable my monitors after I play as it messes w/ my wallpapers

    Is this the better method compared to what Tenz showed (having to load the true stretched ever game/when u load in) or is it the same but more convenient method?

      @@lexorious so the method Tenz shows let’s u play true stretched in 4:3 which is nice but u have to do it every time u load into a match. This method is more like 3:2 or 16:10 but u just do it once when u open the game then ur good till u stop playing. Imo I’d choose this because it’s easier but it’s personal preference

      You would need to do this every time you boot up valorant. Unlike the winexp method however, you will not need to change your resolution to stretched for every game you play.

      @@Deltax0428 yes that would be what I would pick. It still won’t be the exact same since it’s not 4:3 but the models are still stretched. The old method that worked for 4:3 got patched

    do you know any other resolutions for a 1440p monitor? 2100 x 1440 works but it isnt stretched enough for me personally

      Unfortunately since the number when u divide the pixels has to be close to 1.45 all the other options at 1440p will be similar to 2100x1440

      Yes I think most ppl have 1080p monitors and the way I show in the video is through nvidia control panel. U go to the change resolution tab and click customize then enter ur desired resolution

      Unfortunately no, the two that I have in the description are the ones that work if u have a 1080p monitor. As long as the number when u divide the pixels is 1.45 then it should work

      No unfortunately the way this works is changing the desktop res to change valorant’s res. If u just want to stretch Valorant and not ur desktop the models won’t be bigger

    Not sure if anyone can help me out, followed the instructions perfectly but after I switched the res and open up Val again I have black bars both on top and at the bottom. Also can’t switch between Letterbox and Fill like the video showed once Val was opened up again after the res was changed.

      So that kept happening to me and I just updated my graphics drivers and it fixed. If u have no update then I’d recommend just redownloading ur current one

      The main thing is having an nvidia gpu so u can use control panel to make a custom res. I’m not sure if it would work using another program but it wouldn’t hurt to try

      i did it with custom resolution utility u dont even need to disable the monitors just create a new resolution using cru and it shows up in yours settings and basically you apply that resolution i used 1568 x 1080 works the best and i clicked full screen and fill and it stretches

    So i’ve been playing 1280-888 for a week now. Randomly it’s going to letter box and not allowing me to switch it fill.
    I updated my graphics card and tried re doing all the steps. No luck.

      I’d look in ur nvidia control panel under the adjust desktop size and position tab that the scaling mode is on fill. Also the res is 1280x882, not sure if that was a typo but just incase

      I would think that it would still work but you would just have to re enable it. I always make sure to do it after I play because it flips my wallpapers. But I don’t think anything bad will happen if you forgot

      I did this and got stuck with a black screen, to fix it I unplugged my monitor cable and plugged it back in and it was fixed. Kinda panicked for a second though.

    wow, does that mean this will have no input delay since you are still playing on full screen unlike winexp method where you play on windowed full screen?

      I think it’s the same as winexp because that program will maximize the window but I’ve never used it because I was worried I’d get banned. But yes there should be no input delay because you’re playing fullscreen

      unfortunately if u use that res then it will look a bit blurry ingame. I suggest using 1568x1080 if u want the clearest image on true stretched

      This happened to me and it fixed once i updated my graphics drivers. If u can't updated I would re install ur current ones

      @@chrisscot6602 usually when u make the custom res it lets u choose the refresh rate. So if try deleting the res u made and then do it again and then just check that u have ur monitor’s highest refresh rate selected

      @@jarjar2517 yes it’s safe, I’ve done it quite a few times and haven’t had any issues. Plus if something does go wrong u can always re enable it :)

      @@DesolateCODM no this method only works w/ res that are 1.45 when u div the width by the height. Smtg like 1440x992 would work but I’d just stick to the two that I have in the description

      @@ahmdhkz u can’t use 1280x960, I put two res that work in the description that work. It has to be 1.45 when u divide the pixels

      I would be careful because I have seen some ppl whose monitor wouldnt work after so I wouldn't recommend to on laptop. It's been proven to work on pc tho

      To my knowledge no unfortunately, with how the method works I think any 4:3 res would be too low. The number has to be around 1.45 when u divide the width by the height

      @@tu4nfong1312 this actually happened to me too and what fixed it was just updating my graphics drivers. I forgot what version I was on and what I updated to, but after that it fixed

      @@yuukivlr_ it is set to full screen. like 2 weeks before, this method worked i could apply the fullscreen option without the « out of range » message so i could play in true stretch. But since i made my new gpu uptade this bug appeared. So i tried to reset to my last pilote uptade but it still didnt work

      @@sami-s24 I would uninstall ur graphics driver completely and then do a fresh install. There are guides on RUclips on how to do it w/ ddu. But I just looked up what the message means and google said that it was corrupted graphics drivers

      If you change it on Valorant, the game won't be wide. That's why this is called "True Stretched"
