Thank you Jim! .... and your laughter is infectious Nick
Hey Nick! That was fantastic! Thank you for helping show off my baby, come drive it any time
Much cooler than all those boring supercars.
I'm sure you felt right at home with no turn signals after your BMW days ;)
emark24 lol top comment right there
LOL 😂😂😂
When gasoline spills on the floor starter...then you get heated seats as well!
the tires are also so the enemy is unable to see the direction of travel.
Technically you're not wrong....
Blew my mind
Yes, they appear to be going backwards at 12:20. A jeep "moonwalk".
This review is definitely... Different haha. Love it nick! More timeless vehicles like this please
Tuie looking cute sitting under the Jeep! God bless him!
This is awesome. Makes me want to get my 1942 GWP script tub up and running again. Such great vechicles. I always loved how it truly is a combination of tractor/vehicle. Being a guy raised in a rural setting, both always appealed to me. Mine was built in the Richmond CA. ford plant and served in the pacific theatre. It went through a Depot rebuild in Japan then served in Korea before being shipped back home and living in Arizona for most of its life. Thank you for this. (little known fact Henry Ford is to thank for the iconic jeep stamped steel grill vs the willys slat grill.)
if you included a policeman, a construction worker and biker you would have had The Village People too ;)
Most men find it hard to locate the starter :)
Nice vid Nick, keep it up old bean!
Awesome! You guys looked so happy! Thanks for sharing Nick
Excellent. The only thing missing is a .30 Cal to clear the road ahead of 911 drivers.
That is one fine looking and clean jeep
Your choice of music is always spot on
Glad to see you always wearing a helmet! Great video by the way!
Makes me wonder where Tui's helmet was.
I have never seen a man suit a car so well. Forget the new 911 this is all you need my man!
WW2 history buff as well. Loved N.Z. war memorials in all the town's. I remember one in Rotorua for the locals who died in the defense of Crete. Hitler never used an airborne assault after that.
Nick, New Orleans Lakefront Airport just had their yearly WWII Commemorative Airshow and military display. Several vehicles including a few Jeeps were on display.
What a legendary Masterpiece
Nice jeep and presentation
Thanks Nick thats going to be hard to beat
There might be a chance Nick would be able to win in his Porsche and a drag race with the Willys. Not sure though... Great to see you’re wearing your trench flip-flops ;-) Thank you for making these videos.
Willys Jeep, army helemt and flip flops for the true authentic ww2 experience.
Very cool video!
I love power, performance, technology, but I also really love old stuff like this that's just full of history. You probably won't get many views on this one Nick because it's not a 720s or a Gt2 RS but awesome vid 👍🏼
The comparable vehicle of that era although slightly later built and better made was the Land Rover series 1, which was totally inspired by the Willys as the director of Rover cars (Wilks) owned a Willys on his farm in Wales UK and wanted to replicate it,.
He needed to rescue Rover Cars from finncial collapse with a quick fix model, that could made in austere Britain after the second world war and there was a lot of aluminium and green paint
I was lucky enough to have a ride in a mock SAS one, they're so much fun
Nick your have way to much fun !you remind me of the show COMBAT and your Vic Morrow .
Love it - nice vid m8!
Best stuff ever! Next do the open military Trabant please XD
My favourite jeep
A mix of car and tractor? ok, let's call it a cractor!
Nice Helmet Nick :)
Drove Jeeps in Vietnam, a blast to drive.
Cool.
Why do these guys remind me of Gomer Pyle and Hunter S. Thompson?
With modern military vehicles the black out lights are intended to be used with night vision goggles and are useless without them
Cosplay!
Nah it’s Freedomplay
in which area was this video made? It's absolutely beatiful there! Those big houses with large gardens all round.
Fairfield Connecticut
I wish mine looked like that.
Not often I like to write about the american military, but general Pattons jeep :)
Nick you look like Gomer Pyle with that helmet off kilter.
THIS IS A TREASURY
The M1 Garand rifle, the Willy Jeep and the B17 Flying Fortress won WWII.
コンパクトサイズ👍
Cool, its got a dog leg box
Who's ide were the helmets???
Similar to the Porsche pronunciation thing, I'll just be that stubborn nerd and say that Willys is pronounced like "Willis."
Do a drag race, maybe you will win this one ;)
Upper body: Soldier
Lower body: 100% Kiwi
Always heard the word jeep came from the fact the vehicle was for general purpose (GP) , ergo the name Jeep. True or not true?
Nah, the "G", I'm pretty sure, stands for "Government." The "P" is Ford's designation for the vehicle based on wheel length. I'm sure I'm at least half-wrong, but I do know GP does not stand for "general purpose".
Whatever,.... the Gee Pee I still think started the Jeep name ?
so did this thing see action?
Dream drive Nick and you wear flip flops ....................... :-)
Poor Tui!
Nick my old bean, the on screen text is very informative. The movement of it with the camera is vertigo inducing. Stop this madness immediately please.
Ralph Hardwick No, the effect is really cool! I'd say keep doing it, Nick. 😃
Two guys in Flip Flops ...😜✌️
Give the other guy a cigarette holder, and he'd look like Uncle Duke.
Review a land yacht
And I see why Jeep Wranglers became so expensive and hard to buy.
How much is the car? It is priceless I am sure...
First I’m winning at life
Congrats, now everything's downhill from here
David Rallison I know I’ve reached my potential now
Might want to rethink your life goals.. This is just RUclips..
Oscar Mayer I was joking 🙃 but thanks for your concern 👍
Hey Nick, your military attire was cool until I saw dem damn sandals. 😂🤣😂🤣
Dutch brigade
They were tactical sandals!
0:07 "Willies Jeep" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
Nick said Willies, Its Willys
New T Shirt idea "Nick heart Willies (Jeeps)"
Right or wrong, that's how 90% of people have pronounced it since the war.
Classic Nick. Uses German music on THE american car.
Michi Scholl - actually it’s Italian; the William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini.
potato potatto. they're both enemies of the allies
It's pronounced "Willis."
Surpassed by the Toyota fj in the Korean War
69 comments... mine makes 70.😋
