    This #crochet wrap-top is a bandeau style crop top that wraps around the waist and ties in the back to create a unique layered look. Demonstrated using 2 colors, you can use as many colors as you'd like with this pattern, or you can make it monochrome! This pattern is beginner-friendly and size inclusive!

    For this pattern, you will need:
    - approx. 2oz (50g) of weight 4 yarn (2 colors)
    - size H (5mm) crochet hook (amzn.to/3qzI1D4)
    - scissors (amzn.to/3pueevT)
    - tapestry needle (amzn.to/3FzaCP5)
    - tape measure or a ruler & a piece of yarn
    Stitches/abbreviations used:
    ch - chain
    sl st - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc- half double crochet
    hdc dec - half double crochet decrease
    This pattern uses a weight 4 acrylic yarn, but you can use whatever type of yarn you prefer. This pattern is adjustable to any and all sizes. It is written according to a size small. See photos below for medium and xl pattern testers.
    Gauge: 14 DC x 12 rows = 4” square

    You do your hdc decrease different

      I see some decreases with 5 loops on the hook but i see 4 loops on your hook. Which one do i do?

      @@donnagordon1388 I only hdc with 4 loops on my hook, and I pull my yarn through all 4 loops to decrease

    When you made 14 rows how did you crochet 16 times on the side of these rows?? That really confuses me

      I had said 16 rows but I made a mistake and wrote a note in the video saying I meant to say 14! I hope that clarifies

      later on when you finished the rows you chrochet along the side of these rows 16 times, if you really did 14 rows how did you chrochet 16 times on the side of those rows??? Thanks!

      Nope, they shouldn’t! I crochet relatively tightly, so the stitches are close enough together that there’s no empty spaces in between. If you’re worried about it being see-through, then nipple tape or bandaids would work!

      I’ve always been scared to wear crochet tops because of this so this helps
