I love how when Travis and Laura make an ad together, it's a riff on seasonal rom coms but when Matt and Marisha make an ad together, it's epic duels to the death all the way down!
There was a missed opportunity when Matt drew the “Call upon a greater power…” card, since we all know that would mean Taliesan appearing in a puff of sexy gothic smoke.

@@Mediados Maybe. I mean playing with time and space would eventually result in branch theory. Plus Matt and Marisha probably have fantasized some of these as possible PCs or NPCs in campaign.
The creator of this game, Will Hindmarch, is 9 years late delivering a Kickstarter that he pocketed $75 000 for. While the Crit Role people seem to be decent folk, Hindmarch is not. Bear this in mind if you're thinking about buying this product.
I want to back up this comment. I gave Will Hindmarch $135 nine years ago and not only has he failed to deliver on his promises, he refuses to refund any money, and refuses to engage in any communication with the backers who were so generous to him. This is not behaviour the RPG community should be condoning.
the way I got to know these guys during my viewing of Critical role, they just sat them down, explained the rules to the game and just let the cameras role why they played a few rounds. After about 30 minutes they cut out the highlights and created the costumed bits accordingly.
I have been watching these guys literally every day for the last few years. Don't really watch TV so much anymore, but I always find time for Critical Role. So happy to see how far they've come.
My co-host and I played this last night for our podcast, and it's amazing how well it translated to an audio only medium. We had a ton of fun playing it! Basically, if you enjoy roleplay as a core mechanic, and don't just play to win, you'll have a blast with Till The Last Gasp.
OMG YAAAAAASSS!!! Amazing game, definitely going to buy one! But also, I love that this commercial was basically a make-up & costume-off between Matt and Marisha...and i'm here for it!!!
How many times did I watch this? Yes. I would honestly watch a mini series of just Matt and Marisha doing this together 😂 These people are just the height of awesome, this video is a real treat! Can’t wait to get the game.
I really hope Critical Roles releases a video of a couple of them playing this game from start to finish, because the concept honestly seems really fun, but I'm super confused by how this would look like in practice (not saying that it doesn't look like this when Matt and Marisha plays 😆)
This is very smart of the cast. They have particular strengths and they need to lean into what they know. Making a game around the concept of... well drama and acting like this is a brilliant move on their part. It gives them as a whole more experience in creating games while allowing them to make something more connected to what they are good at.

I need to see Liam and Sam play this.

I didn't back it, but I'm vicariously disappointed anyway. Project: Dark looked like a neat concept and I was hoping to pick it up on wider release.
