1. WhatsApp will now let users log into two accounts simultaneously - Previously, people had to carry two phones to use two WhatsApp accounts. Now, the company is making it possible to use just one phone for two accounts.
2. Google Pay makes big consumer and merchant lending push in India - Google has partnered with banks and other lenders in India to enable credit lines for individuals and merchants on the Google Pay app as the tech giant broadens its Indian payments app.
3. Meta is bringing its Telegram-like broadcast channels to Facebook and Messenger - The feature lets creators and public figures share one-to-many messages to directly engage with their followers. Channels support text, images, polls, reactions and more. With broadcast channels, only the creator of the channel can send messages, but viewers can react to messages and vote in polls.
4. RUclips gets a new ‘You’ tab, lock screen functionality and more - RUclips is adding several new features to its mobile app that were previously limited to Premium users. The video-sharing platform also introduced a new ‘You’ tab that combines the existing ‘Library’ tab and account page.
