@@bruceschaeferii2351 no sir. Installation is everything done in reverse order. The only extra thing that must be done is that the RDU must be programmed to the AWD module and add fluid.
@@neighborhoodmechanic3822 I’m having the same problem with a 2021 Ford bronco and I’m trying to do this at home. Is it still possible to do the programming and what type of scanner do I need or do I need to replace it and then take it to the dealer.
On some vehicles the torque coupling can be replaced separately. Unfortunately that was not the case for this vehicle.
I performed TSB 23-2335. Replaced RDU vent tube. Drained n refilled RDU. Still shuddering. Will try that and see.
Yes sir. I also performed the TSB first but it did not fix the shudder. Let me know how it goes💯
@neighborhoodmechanic3822 Yup disconnected the RDU connector, and shuddering went away. Thanks for the help.
