- Copenhagen can be very overwhelming, but the best place to start is right in the center of the city! The DIS academic buildings are located in a tourist-y location that has a lot of shopping areas and restaurants. Come with me as a visit a few of my favorites :D

What was it like exchanging money and understanding costs there? How did you adjust or do you have any tips?
i always like to exchange before i go, as the conversion prices are so high in the country you go. it wasn't hard to adjust for me, as i was surrounded by americans throughout the program. my biggest tip is to go out of your comfort zone and talk to people, as the experience is so much more memorable when you have good friends to share it with! additionally, don't be afraid to do things by yourself (ie commute, go to cafes to study, etc)
