Certainly gave the roof skids a work out. LOL. Looks like that skate park was perfect for the truck. I like scale looking bashers. Would be cool to see one with the Felony body in that scale. Brushless would be next level but doesn't look like a necessity. Thanks for the video.
Last year, $319 was the price of the 3s brushless Big Rock, and the Mega line vehicles were around $260. This feels like a big step backwards, value-wise.
Prices are up on everything. I paid $9 per 2x4 this year when finishing my basement. Just a few years ago when I finished my basement in my old house I paid $1.06 per board.
I know everyone is very "brushed-phobic" but this is the one I'll be picking up. The price is perfect! Great review Greg and congrats on the huge subscriber jump my dude!
ii totally agree with you plus after i buy this and save my money back up then i can put a decent brushless system if i want and end up with an infraction without having to drop 700 in the beginning. great idea for us regular people without big budgets,
@@Timsfpvshow true, or the size too. The Felony/Limitless/Infraction are HEAVY... something a lot of people don't consider, but mine has to weight over 25lbs... you run into an ankle or god forbid hit someone with it and its gnarly
My boy will be stoked with this for Christmas! I pre ordered the same colour that you have here, it does seem a little slow in comparison with brushless/lipo, but pretty sure it'll be plenty fast enough for our local areas
The old granite brushed we had over heated very easily on lipo batteries. Otherwise a great truck. Does anyone know if this thing handles a 2s battery on a decent run time?
Late to this Party & eeying this showy but slow Truck. @ double the speed & the Vendettas have been bullet proof which would make this brushed version last a long long time.
I have always wanted an infraction.. but I can't justify $1300aud for an on-street basher. I'm so happy they came out with a mega version for so much cheaper! I will wait to see if they come out with some newer versions before I buy

@@fbiagent3399 That's what I did for a Granite MEGA, about a month ago. Onyx 3000kv 70amp brushless system. The slipper doesn't like the extra power and slips too much even at the tightest setting. Gotta get the 3s slipper, for sure.

I posted this on another video of yours from September with the Typhon TLR but I'm just wondering if when you replaced your TLR hinge pins with RC8 hinge pins if you had to modify them in anyway or if they fit well enough out the bag? That's actually not the clutch that's used in the BLX. That's the clutch that's used in the current megas. Unfortunately they also used that mega clutch on the vendetta.
@@williamperri3437 not necessarily. They are small, light and have pretty small tires. Those things all add up to pretty light loads on this liquor clutch

Did you get it? I had my last brushed system hit about 29mph in 2017.

The suspension definitely looks beefy. It will be interesting to see how well sealed the drive train is after being ran through dirt.

if you take out the center driveshaft wont it make it RWD
If it has the front differential it’s still 4x4 it just doesn’t have the front wheels spinning

The Street infraction is a 6S brushless truck in a larger scale. This one is 2S capable with a brushed motor. Not the same truck at all.
You probably would have hit or at least gotten closer to 30mph if you removed the rear wing
Agreed. I read the fine print under the 30mph logo on the box after the video. It says under optimum conditions. Which means do some tricks lol!
For tracking and racing that big oversized spoiler really makes a big difference though. No oversteer spinouts
