Great opening scene with the Blues Brothers 😎 as hit men, before they became musicians

I loved the Blue Brothers movies! I saw them at the midnight movies and fans would dress like them: black fedoras, skinny ties, black suits, and briefcases handcuffed to their wrists! Don't forget the wraparound Ray Bans! Dan Akroyd, John Belushi, and Cab Calloway were excellent actors!

The scene at the house had two deer mounts on the back wall. Mule deer.
Doubt an eastern hunting lodge would have them, as only found out west.
Obviously set design on the West coast(LA). Nice mounts though. MD have large ears, like a mule. Antlers points errupt in groups of two, like a "Y."

Amazing observation John but looked like the Knoweye deer to me which is known to be found in the north, east, south and west...

That's the NYC 1957 ''hit'' of Mafia kingpin Anastasia (The Executioner). It's commonly believed that ''Crazy Joe'' Gallo performed the homicidal contract.

Good movie. The only dumb scene was on the road when the dumb kid ran into the weak cop and the bad guy. "We're all headed back to the house!". He got into the station wagon and followed them. I'd have kept driving.

kind of funny that Ford, when they sponsored films, gave their best cars (those ridiculous 58-60 Lincolns) even to the bad characters of the films. I can somewhat understand why, since they sold so poorly. On the other hand, to sell those particular cars, I don't think showing them to the potential customers was helpful, since they were so ugly with that nonsensically arbitrary fuddy duddy designs, compared to the Cadillacs where were artwork on wheels. This all changed in 61 of course when Lincoln finally got with it and made beautiful simple modern cars. To clarify my idea, usually when a car is a product placement in a film, they give their best cars to the good guy characters, and to the bad guys, they either use old models (5yrs old was ancient for cars in those days, since style changed every year) of their own or of competitors cars.
