Wow, i think this video alone just changed my mind to go here for engineering rather than business at cal poly. i couldn't get into engineering at cal poly but i loved the campus so much i was tempted to there, but SF state looks amazing
Holy cow. SFSU has changed lots since I was there in the early '90s! Other than the restaurants, Mary Ward and Mary Park haven't changed at all. Campus Police and other facilities were located where the Village Apartments are now. The residency side of the campus looks great.
I once dropped a pumpkin from the 9th floor of my apartment in the Towers (which wasn't called the Towers back then). :) All the amenities SFSU offers now look really outstanding!
Thanks for the insight to campus living 25 years after I attended that school.
No cliques is right! So much more friendly than other schools. Even why back when, people would be nice.
This is a little long but sooooooooooooooooooooooooo helpful! I wish all the colleges I look at had this!!!!!!
Thanks! I'm going to SFSU in the Fall for Cinema.
Starting school here this fall. So excited!
+Shar R How is it? I'm transferring there this fall...
J Galvan It's a commuter school so if you're looking for the college party experience this isn't the place for it. But other than that it's great
I'm not worried about the party scene. Either way there is so much you can do in the city. Also, is internet provide in the dorms or do you have to pay extra?
J Galvan True that. Internet is provided!
Shar R Awesome, thank you so much for the insight! Much appreciated.
Does anyone know if you can bring surfboards in to your dorm rooms? I noticed one of the guys in the video had one. I am planning to apply for colleges right now, and SF State definitely caught my eye. I want to be able to surf on my free days. I have something well over 8ft... was wondering that would be enough space if I were to stay at Mary Ward? I was also considering the Towers housing.
What is the price range for the different housing options?
What students are usually on the Health and Wellness floor? And is that found in the Mary Ward Hall?
What kind of camera and slider was used?
are those dining options only available for dorm students? or are normal students allowed to eat there as well?
I'm just trying to go to the Cars & Coffee SF that takes place the first sunday of each month.
The dining center was redone and there wasn't food at Mary Park years ago.
What would be the best option for a transfer student that wants to make new friends?
PLEASE REPLY (anyone with an opinion).
I can't figure out which housing option I should choose.
I am a film major and love to socialize. But at the same time, i still want a large enough space so i don't feel crowded (i'm 6ft tall). I'd like a homey feel to where i live, but seclusion from social life or campus is not an option for me.
Any thoughts?
The towers. Even though it is not a social scene in the towers ha,ways, you still have a large space full of people
2:40 improper use of solidarity!
1:02 there are co-ed rooms??
That room is actually our model room. For the rest of our spaces, co-ed rooms are only for specific circumstances :)
You forgot university park north
I'm living in the towers because I am a loner hahaha. I love my privacy.
hes wearing a santa cruz sweater

Yes. Yeeeees.
