AC 230v electric blanket with both sides set to low uses 5amph out of or 12v 120ah lithium battery and runs it all night. Lets face it you don't need to heat a room if you just going to sleep in it. Not to mention every time you opened the door you let all the heat out, and that poor little heater had more work to do. When its cold and we are camping we just dress for it. But the bed is toasty warm when we get in it. That is a great way to drain your battery and heat up and dry out the inside of that inverter though. We have to look after our gear. 👍👍
that was the main purpose to dry things out. I have a few 12v heated blanks but think I will get a 120v one as well cause they have more settings. I like to use both a heater to keep the camper around 5-10c or warmer and heated blanket. I have stayed in this trailer in -15c but I had a 1500w heater and grid power :D heater only ran 20% of the tie it seemed.
@@GoingOffGrid101 Yes gets cold where u live. if it gets to - 1 or 2 we go Up North to where it warmer as we live Down south of Western Australia we tend to stay down this way during summer. That way we miss the worst of the cold and the worst of the heat. We are staying home this winter though as we have a bit of work to do about the place. I would still love you to show me the bushland in summer though. I love the bush. 😉
I know it's been a while since you last did a video, Just hoping all is well near where you live since the wild fires. I think I can say on behalf of your follwers, "Hope family are well and stay safe. "
Nice little trailer and that heater did a good job. Nothing like having a dry warm spot when you are out in the bush.
Yes, I like this little trailer, quite fun the camp in.
And that's on low, wonder how well it works on high :)

I have one of those heat bud heaters. Used it to heat my entire apartment back when I first got into solar. I have a video on my other channel.
I'll have to watch it
Another great video. 😁
Maybe try that small dehumidifier? Should dry things out even faster and also put out a good amount of heat.
Yes will heat the crap out of it but can't controll the heat but will try
Nice setup
not bad for a little trailer lol, you gotta checkout my large trailers solar system :)
@@GoingOffGrid101 yes I will
Yes, i see a lot of people using just a heat blanket to save on power
They work so well. But it's nice just to change in warm temperatures, I also keep a 1500w heater for quick heat.

That's amazing thanks for the great comment! I'll try and pump out a video soon
Do you still have the CNswipower Inverter?
Yes not using it ATM but it's ran for a long time over a year and now sits as backup
👍😎
