- Inspired by Martin Spitznagel & Bryan Wright I've also played the Star Wars "Cantina Band" ragtime version on the piano (CN-37 Kawai). Unfortunately there are still some clumsy notes... but I did my best ;)
People can have different opinions on just about anything, and that’s ok. We can still be friends. But it is an indisputable fact that every song is better in ragtime anyone who claims otherwise is dead to me.
Haha 🤣
i guess im not dead to you then brother!
Consider me alive!!
same
Consider us friends
I had not expected a 'Binary Sunset' intro. Bravo.
haha ;D
@@beeanoman6375 It's a freezing cold dark winter evening where I am, but I nearly went outside to stare enigmatically into the distance from the top of my compost heap when I heard it.
This is immense talent. I am full of admiration.
Thank you ;)
The best piano adaptation I have ever heard, really nice, I'm saving this one
Thank you. I am happy to read this :)
@@beeanoman6375 I'm honestly impressed that you still awnser EVERY coment, even after 3 years, if that's not dedication I don't know what is
You are a legend
I haven't that many comments on my channel. So everytime someone wrote a comment, I get a notification. And then I answer 😅 this doesn't happen that often. Thank you for your comments ;)
@@beeanoman6375 Yes, I think your version is excellent. I also love Kristen Mosca's version:

Both pieces have different qualities!
Wonderful cover! I love your ragtime arrangement of the song! Compliments from a fellow musician RUclipsr!
Thank you alot ;D I am happy to hear this!
Sounds like its based off the Spitznagel duet version? Very cool, good job!
Thank you :D
yes, this is an adaption of the Martin Spitznagel duet ;)
@@beeanoman6375 that realy cool good luck, and hello on russia
Yup! You did it. Instant stardom on YT!
Simply brillant ❤
I've watched this video countless times and never get tired of it - very talented musician
Holy crap you are amazing... How do you not have more subs?? I was expecting 10k+ subs minimum for this quality!! am definitely subbing
Haha. Thank you 😅 maybe because I upload not enough videos on a regular basis 🤔
Und den selben Song nochmal!
Toll!
man it's awesome. Nodded my head during listening
Thank you. I am really happy to read this :D
Such fun!
Amazing

Your left hand stride is insane!

Wow, I'm just having my breakfast, you made my day feeling good with this awesome play 👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹💃🕺💃🕺💃
Haha. Thank you. Have an nice day!
best version ever
Truly amazing. Bravo!
It keeps showing me this song in my recommendations and i have to re-watch it every time! Still amazing!
Haha 🤣
This was my favorite cut off my vintage 1977 Star Wars Soundtrack Album.
I thought you were John Williams ;)
This is so good SO much better than the one I play 💗💗💗
Thank you :))
I don't care about the mistakes it depends on the effort 💪💪 You can play better!
I have become obsessed in learning this. You make it look easy and it sounds awesome and stuck in my head for a week.. So I'm buying a piano and gonna learn this
I wish you good luck ;)
Practice slowley, both hands separately before putting everything together. Don't rush it. Even if you play a lot of days very slow. At some point you will get automatically faster
@@beeanoman6375 much appreciate the advice... I'll take as much as I can get. Just gonna start looking for music notes for this as you're too quick to try and catch the keys..lol
I actually need this tonight. Ligted my spirits. Thank you.
Love this! ❤️
"A few clumsy notes"?
I'm no musician but I've known this tune for 44 years and I didn't notice anything amiss.
This is so awesome!
Thank you ;)
Where is this arrangement?? Best one I heard so far!
Unfortunately I dont have any sheet music for this arrangement. I played by ear and it was inspired by Martin Spitznagels version. Maybe I will take the time and write the notes down. I let you know.
Really, really nice!
thank you :D
sehr geile Version, die du da gemacht hast. hat irgendwie nen Udo jürgens vibe^^
Vielen Dank! für die Blumen ;)
Damn dude I think you killed all your competition
Thank you :D I appreciate it very much.
This is incredible
Thank you ;)
Now make it loop & go for 10 hours.
haha :D This is a to-Do for my 1000 subscriber special^^
Woah, nice left-hand jumps mate!
Thank you ;D I took some time to master it^^
Go check out some of Stephanie Trick’s stride playing….
Very enjoyable
Thank you ;D
Dope
That's godlike level
Sowas hat viel mehr aufmerksamkeit verdient! :o
das ist ja nett. Danke :D
Mad about Me, by Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes
Incridible
Awesome! Must have taken lots of effort. :)
Thank you, I appreciate :D
Super stark gespielt! Keep it up! :D
Danke! ;D Ich freue mich über deinen Kommentar!
@@beeanoman6375 Voll gerne! Freue mich auf neue Videos ;)
Superb
Thank you !!
Just got a Scott Joplin CD and this would be right at home there
"Never play ragtime fast" - Scott Joplin 😅
noice :)
Really cool. Quick question what model is your piano? Looking to change from accoustic to digital myself.
Thank you. This is the Kawai CN-37. But I recommend you to check out the CN-39. This is the newer version with better technology. My version had some issues with the keys. After 2 years we had to replace all contacts underneath the keys ...
@@beeanoman6375 Yeah I've read that it can be a bit of a nightmare in regards to reliability. But the ability to move the thing if you need to and obviously no tuning are appealing. Once we're allowed to go outside again, I'll have to go try one to see how it feels compared to a traditional upright. Thanks for replying, really appreciate it.
Clean, when your left hand started jumping around I knew it was going to be good.
Haha 😆
Can you do this on a honky tonk piano sound?
Yes I could do it, technically^^
Das ist so unglaublich gut! Super Arrangement - hättest du die Noten davon? Keep it up!
Vielen Dank ;) Ich habe da keine Noten davon.
Nice! Could you tell me in what key you played this song? It goes too fast for my eyes to see :-)
Thanks. I played it in d minor ;)
The song is fairly simple to play just takes inverted chords
Okaaaay, cooool... That's nice! I guess ;)
The Cantina theme IS Ragtime
Great arrangement. I love the duet arrangement but there's a sound from only two hands that sings to me.
Thank you :)
Sheet music? Please 😱
Please google for "Cantina Band Spitznagel Wright sheet" and you will find a 4-hand version of this song. I improvised with this sheet music and made it playable for 2-hands. I personally do not own any sheet music for this particular arrangement. Sorry, but thank you for listening :D
Where can I get the sheet music?
I don't know. I played by ear. The original arranger is Martin Spitznagel: ruclips.net/video/gNi2oxH37vo/видео.html
Going somewhere...solo?
Maklunky!
Do you have sheet music for this? I would really love to learn it❤️ Thank you!
Sorry for the late response. I don't have any sheets music. Maybe google for "Martin Spitznagel Cantina Band Sheets". I think he has official sheets of his 4 hand arrangement.
Spielt den selben Song nochmal!
Looks sped up... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt
Hi, I can ensure you it isn't sped up. Maybe it looks so, because the camera I used had a low framerate and could not completely capture the fast movements of my hands. So it looks like there are frames missing. In my newer videos I am using a better camera which is able to record 50 frames per second. Now everything is much smoother and the jumps are better to capture with this camera.
I also think that speeding up would have broke the sound as well. Not really sure, but I can image that the digital recorded audio of my e piano would get distorted as well. I Think you would hear a speed up
Haha, sped up, some people just don't want to acknowledge some great playing 👍
Not as good as Kristen Mosca!
Eher false
:D
