Pats humour transcended cultures and he was a gentleman in true sense of the word, he never used his 6’6” height to intimidate like Shotgun suge or Calicoe ,and the brothas took to him when he got on Smack Url ,Drect recently said he only started he only started grind time after seeing pats elements battle ,that’s big ! The first time I met Pat Stay was in Toronto at world Dom 1 he battled hollohan was sick and truly one of the funniest nicest people I met throughout the years I seen and met Pat a bunch more. This is an absolute tragedy to us as Canadian’s to his fans from all over the world but most importantly to his family his son daughter and wife must be crushed. So sad….. RIP to the goat in Canada (in my opinion the world) the sucka free boss Pat Stay

Pat Stay was absolutely one of a kind and beyond his battle rap contributions, he always come across to me as a better human and humble/thoughtful ass dude. Its absolutely gut wrenching to think of his children growing up without him. I still have his merch "Sucka Free" hoodie. I wore that thing until the threads fell off. I'm from the DC area so you wouldn't think it would be a conversation starter but every time I wore it out, someone noticed it was Pat Stay merch and chop up with some battle rap talk for a minute. It was wild the reach he had between random guys, girls, bartenders, bouncers, whenever I wore it out someone knew and it connected us.
Pat Stay is an absolute GOAT. Definitely need to finish this video up. RIP to the legend

Was a buddy of mine. I tattooed him as well. He was the same guy on and off stage. Such a positive endearing person but in contrast one of if not the most formatable battle rapper on earth and def one of the greatest to do it … the entire culture bled when we lost pat and my city was shattered .
