Absolutely fantastic, Manjari is not just effortless in her singing, but she is the song and above all she IS music. For her to sing in Urdu being a south Indian is phenomenal in itself. Absolutely brilliant performance and the table Uttar jee is the best too.

I am from southern part of India where urudu is not predominantly in practice. Still I can enjoy this ecstatic moment.
No problem with urdu as it is one of the indian origins language. Pakistan is using it as a gift from lndia to be able to communicate in art and culture and music. Very good idea.

Natarajan Baradwaj I think any new comer needs to bring your own style. Please do not try to copy "supreme" like Ghulam Ali. She is a great singer but she is no where near him when she is giving variations emulating him, looks and sounds very unnatural.

After scouring the youtube,my personal opinion is that no one comes close to her in terms of mellifluousness,her passion and her unparalleled ability to convey what the poet is expressing in the gazal!
She is not doubt very good. You may also want to listen to Pooja Gaitonde for same genre and mellifluousness.

This was the first of her ghazals which I heard few days back... since then I listened to most of her ghazals. She doesn't cop any one. It is her own style and a very good one. Knowing that it is not her language she sings VERY well . I introduced her to my friends. They all love her singing... Manjari keep it up you are superb...
