Adrian Perez This installer chose to power the camera from the backup light (along with the reverse sense “trigger”), so the camera will only get power when the backup light is on. My preference is to power the camera from accessory power (“15 power” in VW parlance) so that it does not drain the battery when the car is off, but the camera still works if you manually switch to it on the head unit.
Parts used linked in the description of the video!
What gauge is the cable both cables ground and the red wire ?
Nice ... :)
Does the camera get damaged at all during a car wash?
Nope, as long as you purchase a decent camera.
@@ProvoBeastAudio I've found some online for about $75 that goes where the handle to lift the truck area just want to make sure it's water resistant
Does the camera stays on when the car is off ?

How do you get the aftermarket head unit with the pressure clips out though?
Putty knife is what we've used in the past.
Can you get the little back-up lines and steering wheel control to work on a mk4 vehicle?
With a dynamic line backup camera, yes. amzn.to/3MBkR9K
