I like how unlike most action characters, when Kate gets injured, she doesn’t just make a light grunt and get back up right away. She clearly gets hurt and feels pain. Like, she actually feels hurt when she gets push kicked by Yelena when most action characters would just shrug it off.
She already knows how to fight, its just not her strong suit. Also it's not like she was gonna become the best fighter in a few days, but she already had the skills, like gymnastics

Footage of her sliding down the building alone should make the news, the fight against Kingpin, EPIC. Getting her own mother arrested, you can't buy that kind of publicity.
If you didn't know already Haley Stienfeld was nominated for an Oscar for her role in True gritt and I think she was 14 at the time which is pretty impressive cuz I don't think theirs many nominated for an Oscar at such an early age, she was brilliant in that movie I recommend it to anyone who is her fan 😀
I love Kate but damn you gotta admit Kingpin went easy on her…he probably pulled back because he saw she was just a kid and figured she was just dumb and overambitious, but he could have seriously hurt her if he wanted to. And props to Kate for taking on Kingpin like a fearless pro, she used every skill she had and didn’t give up even though she was clearly outmatched.
He is not even paying her any mind because he was going for her mom until she sealed his exit. And its more like he is annoyed and throws her around many times to make her give up instead of outright hurting her. Seriously if not for her lucky shot at "way too dangerous" arrow, she would be probably injured badly after that

I like that her hits have such little impact because compared to most of the prior heroes, because she either is too small to deal heavy hits or she's too inexperienced to know how to take opponents down like Black Widow might do.
