For sure! My first 7 months as a train 2.0 member were strictly on Marsblades (due to covid). The transition to ice wasn’t easy but you can still make good progress! Just be aware that lower y angle doesn’t NOT give you more grip on blades. You can still work on your y angle but be cognizant of how far you can push your y angle before completely slipping. Also wear equipment!
My coaches always want me to max out y-angle, shin angle, etc. but now that makes sense. Maximizing early on gives you optionality for later. Then you’reCOMFORTABLE and CAPABLE of both max and min in all your mechanics
Exactly! Practicing maximizing will allow you to manipulate more later on. But don’t worry too much about manipulating. This video was more of a “FYI”, still focus majority of your training on maximizing.
Thank you for watching! Drop your thoughts down below and see description for more!
I’ve been watching a lot of your videos lately and I don’t have access to ice that easily so could most of your drills be done on Roller/Marsblades?

Without a doubt, an important message!
