zi love the gardens. I never get bored every season is different. Its such a haven away from the busy city life and so central .even when the city was in ruins the gardens were the same ☺
DAY 2 COMPLETE! I was just thinking, we never even walked through the Botanic Gardens and... the first time I saw a Redwood was in Queenstown - they're HUGE!!
Love that you're challenging yourself, & getting creative with clips! We can't wait(but are nervous) to make the jump to daily vids as well >.< Jealous of that beautiful garden you live by! Excited for more NZ!
Hello from Cape Town, South Africa! Love your vlogs ♥️ My hubby and I want to move to NZ, and we have totally fallen in love with Christchurch! Thank you for sharing your experiences 🤗
Just catching up Mari with your blogs,Dont know if you are still here in NZ but if you are thanks so much for coming back over to our wonderfull country!! Great to have some USA spirit here,we love Americans !!. You are truely wonderfull and it would have been no problem for you to get work here I guess.Did you venture up to the "Far North" of the Northisland since you were back? The postcard pic in my blog reply is of my village.I live In Auckland, but Im originaly from this little country village called Horeke. It's on the Hokianga Harbour not far from Opononi where the lovely white clean sand hills are across the harbour.Im originaly a Dairy Farmer where I milked cows and sheared sheep. However those days are long gone I now enjoy my "CamperVan" ( Van life on the road) touring our great country Freedom Camping !!.
I did a little road trip up to the top of the North Island a couple of years back! Here's part 1 with staying in a van! ruclips.net/video/BorsttKweRM/видео.html Sounds like you're living the dream!
Hi Mari, another excellent video. Is the Botanical Gardens easy to travel around there? I remember exploring the Botanical Gardens in Wellington, near the cable car. I got in okay, but I then lost my bearings and I couldn't find my way to the exit area. I could hear all the Wellington city sounds, while trying to find my way out of what seemed like an endless jungle!!! LOL. The Botanical Gardens in Wellington is like a world on its own. Anyway, take care and all the best. Robert.
Enjoyed the video today! I had an idea about your challenge and a video you could film this month. I'm not sure how open the people of Christchurch are about talking of their experiences from the earthquake a few years ago. Maybe do a video where you interview locals and how the earthquake impacted their life.
lovely video Mari, I like the way Nick is starting to look very relaxed on camera and nice to see a bit of ordinary life in Christ church, I was wondering what your new job is and what you will do when your work visa runs out, oh and what does Nick do? I'm guessing something to with computers ( because he did an awesome job on your website!).
The Botanical gardens are beautiful ,I am trying to eat healthier as well, finally getting a chance to catch up with your vlogs, They are always wonderful, thanks for sharing, be Blessed
Hi Mari, nice walked under the sun!! Can I asked you if where I can find the free music background for vblog? I have been looking for the music that can't violate the rules of music owners.
Mari - random question. You’re always dressed so cute. When you moved to NZ did you bring most of your clothing with you or did you buy it once you got there? I imagine cold vs hot weather is hard to pack for and backpacking clothing is much different than long term stay clothing! Especially when having an office job!
Hi Lauren! When I moved here I didn't bring too much. I've gotten some things in NZ but otherwise when I go back to the US I usually bring back more of my old stuff or go shopping. So I'm slowly acquiring more of a wardrobe in NZ :)
Oh so you're doing VLOGuary eh? I just finished up my edits for when I went to Dubai and trying to decide if I should go back to "normal" vlogging or if I should focus on a certain aspect like food/travel. Good luck!
That looks super pretty, I wish I could afford to tag New Zealand onto this trip. I guess its good to have plenty of dream destinations though eh?! :) keep up the great content, I've just booked the place you stayed on Koh Rong. It looked like the best place to splurge a little money on accommodation.
Hey! So they are actually the same ones I had before that I broke, but I glued them together!! Unfortunately I still don't remember the name of the shop in Queenstown that I got them in. If I ever go back there, I will look!

I love the Botanic Gardens! Beautiful place to walk

Ah man, we should've had a walk through! When you go back to the US you should go see the ones in California! :)
Those gardens look so pretty!
