After quite a hiatus due to a knee injury. Meniscus was causing me pain but we are almost back to full strength. Here are come clips from Sunday morning action. We played quick games to 3 which are quite intense. Winner stays in. Enjoy.

Glad you're back. Kept going to your RUclips page and didn't see any new uploads, until today!!! I've had a knee injury myself, so I know how hard it is to get back to full strength. Again, glad to see you back.

sick get at 9:40, and then way to hustle to get up, quickly back in good defensive position.

Regarding shot at 4:50...When both players are deep, and you're hitting a BH as you're crossing over to retrieve a hard DTL, I'm starting to realize that maybe the 3 wall boast is the best shot to take. Would you agree? you seem to do it so well and I notice you also use it more than the other guys you play with regularly . I used to think it the boast was VERY risky and I would normally hit a hard cross court in that instance or ceiling but if you're not perfect on either of those, it's just as bad as missing the boast. There's also the option of hitting a down the line BH and then jumping over it but that might be a penalty hinder if you're opponent is right next to you, ready to cross over and you're in the way.

It's pretty low percentage. I miss a fair amount of them. I'd rather not hit them but I'm too slow to get over sometimes. :(

It's a good shot to hit. We have to cover down the lines, passes, and pinches, but the boast gives us another area to cover. It's essentially a drop shot because it dies up front.

@@anthonydefusto1781 I think you're right... never thought much of this shot, but after watching all of Jason's success, I'm going to start practicing these.

@@rbaddict2947 I really like your analytical approach to this problem. As a leftie this is a game scenario that comes up often. I would say a large percentage of leftie v righty rallying is done in this format (maybe somewhere in the realm of 20-30% for seasoned players). After watching countless hours of video of Kane I can confidently tell you that about 80% of the time he hits a splat IF the ball is fast and will not be coming off the back wall. Kane has the uncanny ability to see split second changes in a players movement (micro or otherwise) and I think in most cases he is leveraging their backward momentum against them by hitting the splat. The 3-wall pinch is an extremely low percentage shot and requires far more trigonometry than even the most difficult shots that require an off-balance or out of position (footwork) swing. The only benefit to the three wall is that you can hit it powerfully even when the ball is behind you already so when passing your opponent headed for the corner the ball outpaces athletic running speeds. I think the answer lies in overall game style but I personally never hit them - not because I can't make them ever but I mostly see them as a desperation shot. The odds of that shot coming off the back wall are actually pretty good.

I was wondering (was wondering what happened to the crew and the videos, that is)..... Love the intensity. Some nice shots. Look at Tony putting in the reps. Old man's still got it! (sort of)
