They're both basically the same gun made by KWC in Taiwan. A real 1911 doesn't have ambidextrous safety, nor a skeleton trigger, nor a Commander style hammer. Your Tanfoglio Witness is more faithful to a Colt 1911 A1 than this Swiss Arms. I have the Colt Commander myself, also made by KWC, and love it.
@@AlainHubert what I would like is what's the difference between the 1911 made by tanfoglio and the Swiss arms' 1911, but not the one in this video but the P1911 (the "old' 1911 model, just like the tanfoglio one). They are both made in Taiwan by KWC after all... so are they exactly the same with different "brands"? Im not sure. Or the SA is made by cybergun actually? (although still made in Taiwan). I don't exactly get this CO2 thing tbh, lots of brands and manufacturers but they are all the same made in Taiwan after all lol
@@FockeWulfFW200 From what I understand, KWC of Taiwan is under contract by several brands to produce a 1911 CO2 air gun for them, according to each company's specifications. The basic mechanics of the gun is the same across all models. Only cosmetic changes are made; markings, grips, trigger, hammer, slide, aims, etc. It's a good marketing strategy because it reduces manufacturing cost, whilst promoting several different brands. KWC even have their own, unmarked 1911 which is exactly the same internally as all the others. BTW, non of the brands, be it Cybergun, Tanfoglio, Swiss Arms, Colt, Springfield Armory, and others, actually manufacture any air guns. They produce real firearms. They only put their names on air guns made by KWC for them.
Hi! And thanks for this video! Even with out words it says everything! Here everyone can realise that in fact an image can have the value of a 1000 words. I am thinking about buying this model in 6mms or in 4,5mm and this was a great help.
Yes this model TRS displayed is great on looks and and a lot of fun to shoot. I picked it up around $125 during Christmas on eBay or Amazon. Love the sites. I have the Tanfoglio witness but it seems to misfire a bit more and scratches easier. Both are ok but I really liked the Swiss Arms silver color and chrome injection port. About the only downside are the plastic handles. It shoots around 325 fps.
Since it's modeled after the actual gun and the grips are only screwed on, I'm pretty sure you could easily replace those grips with actual wood, dunno yet since mine is set to arrive in 2 days
@@tonyabrego1 mine arrived yesterday, I love it so far although it got jammed twice and the spring got a little bent but I was able to fix all that with almost no problems, honestly if the metal was shinier I think it would look beautiful with pearl grips but since the metal is a bit darker I think wood fits it better

Any update on how badly scratched the front of the slide has become over the years? I have practically the same thing, but 6mm airsoft. And after a few uses already showing scratches at the tip of the bottom side of the slide.
I know this video is 1 year old now but i just about to order one of this swiss arms 1911s and i just want to know that if it only shoots bb or can it shoot pallets?
Im getting this gun purely because I want a gun accurate to the real thing so I can get a handle on the mechanics of it, the ins and outs, field stripping, cleaning, etc because after I get used to this one, I'll buy myself a real 1911
Sharing this info since I own this piece Current available website for purchase Evike. Cost:120 US Dollars, and is labeled as an air gun Gas needed: Umarex or Crosman 12 gram gas canister Feet Per Second(FPS):300-330(AVG) Caliber: 4.5 steel bb Magazine capacity: 16 plus 1 in the chamber, 17 rounds in total. Features is an ambidextrous slide safety, right handed mag release, and tactical rail system for mounting lasers and or flashlights. Lastly it comes with a muzzle attachment that helps attach suppressors. Hope you all found this helpful
Yeah It's actually really helpful but I've heard that kwc and Swiss arms are using low quality pot metal for their hand guns. I'm pretty sure airsoft/ co2 bb guns wouldn't be able to handle full metal (steel slide and frame) construction Planning to buy this modernized 1911 but still ain't quite sure. So 10 months later how does it shoot - accurate and good blowback? 🔫 😃

Some people JUST should not be making video about gun's PERIOD ...NOT AIR SOFT BB OR REAL GUNS. AND obviously this guy is one of those people VERY unsafe handling of this 4.5 BB gun.
Another awesome blowback bb 1911 is the sig sauer we the people the frame and slide are distressed metal and the grips are distressed Aluminum
Mmm the slide and frame is made with real steel or tipe of zamac or alloy
Nicest one I’ve seen so far. I have tanfoglio witness protection and I’m really impressed by it. This one is more realistic.

How many rounds of pellets in 1 load of CO2? Ty
2.5 magazines, after that it starts to loose pressure, you can go to 3 full magazines if you are shooting up to 10m
I bought a weapon just like the one you put on the video (new) but it does not shoot. If you could help me I would appreciate it very much.
