Great video. How often should the water filter be changed?

On the Axopar 28 it's just a screen filter on the fresh water pump. It's always a good idea at the beginning of the season to visually inspect the filter to see if it appears clogged or dirty. Dip in water pressure could indicate a dirty filter as well. You don't need to replace the filter, just inspect and clean periodically.

Hi, great series ! I was just wondering my sink wasn’t draining in the head, until I realised you need to open the stopcock above the other one, that you appear to have open in the video, do you leave that open all the time ? Also does it drain into the waste tank or straight over board ? Cheers !

The sink drains directly overboard and we do leave it open at all times when boating on the ocean in the northeast. The drain is just above the waterline.

Ben, these Axopar 28 Cabin models are intended for weekending, not just day runs, given their extensive outfitting. Unfortunately, 10 gals of water is not really very much for that purpose. I'm wondering what you would suggest if an owner wanted to increase water capacity on a 28. Is there a likely place to restrain a couple of 5 gal jugs? The water tank looks squirreled away so much that adding a secondary tank would seem to be a real challenge. And thanks again for these informative videos; much appreciated!

From our cruising adventures we never found that we were restricted with the volume of the water tank. That being said, we were conscientious of the water we were using for the shower and dishes. My recommendation would to use the boat and see if you have a need. But if that need, you can easily fit a 5 gallon jug of water in one of the aft lockers.

@@EastCoastYachtSales Thanks, Ben. Didn't realize those aft lockers were that large. Excellent detail to know.
