This child reminds me of me. Whist everyone else was busy achieving and doing so well. I would be the only child in the family who would sit back and just watch. Everyone is still program to believe unfortunately in my family that what they see is truth yet there still blind to realise what they see is a illusion of what they want to see. He almost has it but not quite. Happiness doesn’t come from materialistic things it comes from experiences but the experiences that he is talking about still don’t get you true joy and happiness. You can enjoy all the experiences you would be able to enjoy in a lifetime but in the end it won’t get you true happiness. People all around the world are trying to find happiness in literally every possible thing they can think of. But the only thing that can give you true happiness is experiencing God and his eternal grace and love. Nothing else absolutely nothing else in the world compares to the happiness and love and joy you experience when having a true relationship with god. And I don’t mean going to church every Sunday and sitting there bored but going home and forgetting everything. But praying to God everyday and reading his word to build a relationship with God where you can talk to him and feel and peace and happy with him. Since I was a kid that's been my dream to become happy not because I wasn't happy but because I want to live a simple and meaningful life. But life thought me so hard that I put a thick wall in my heart so I won't get hurt anymore. I learned to hide my true feelings and what's really inside my heart. I learned to be a cold hearted person and act like I don't care. Honestly I really want to go back to who I am but I'm afraid that I would get hurt again. 😭 💔
