My uncle John had one of these when I was a kid, only it was in orange as I remember Also remember him saying it was the most unreliable car he’d ever bought! Seem to recall it was in the garage more times than it was on the road! Think he dropped it for a VW Golf GTI in the end. Happy days
Better than when it was new
If you bought this car , you wouldn't want to drive it . Its too good .😮
Agreed it’s a storage piece, some prick would key it I’d be scared to leave it anywhere
How much was it
What a stunning car, love these old Escorts
Modern paints are so much better, the finish looks amazing.
Wow! Outstanding! Cost a bit but worth it!
What a beauty this RS 2000 😎looks so factory fresh better nick than me at 50 years old
I believe you 😂😂😂😂😂
Interesting to see what it makes looks stunning.
Really beautiful. someone put some hours into that.
Someone's ultimate dream Ford right there - What an example ! 👏💯

@@1mikefrost maybe, but I’m not sure sure in the current market.
Stunner
she’s quality 🔥💯💪🏻
My April 74 build Modena green example rusted to nothing by 1988.
Best car I ever had, so missed from 88 on.
Wow that’s incredible. It’s going to fetch top money without a doubt
One for the living room, and no further ? That dot ? Shouldn't there be a small securing bracket for the release cable there ?
Better finish than the ford factory 😁
Beautiful, would not be my choice of colour, but great condition.
If you ripped the sticker of the spare it would wipe £5000 of its value.
The front indicator lenses for that year shouldn’t have the chrome surround. Just an observation.
It's to good.

I would NEVER take that out in the rain
That car is fantastic....Apart from the blue engine
Needs to be put in a showroom.
Instead of my usual one line on the Lotto I think I will do ten lines this weekend.

❤❤m reg is 74 n reg 75
I know jack shit about cars. That is a thing of beauty is all I know.
They didn't have that much paint on the underside when they left the factory....just a whiff of overspray at best. 😀
I think nothing has been done to it, It's just come of the transporter from the factory.
They were never that good even straight from the factory.
Minted u wouldn't want 2 drive it 😮
This Show was Part my Routine last Summer,HMP HEWELL!🙏 Thank U
Did the RS2000 have a wooden dash my one didn't that was a 1974.
I wondered the same thing. I bought my blue on white in 1975 and I’m pretty sure it didn’t have the wooden dash. Still a glorious, unusable car!
Yours would have been black. The wood dash was a factory option.
I have never seen one without alloy wheels.
@@piledriverpotter9847 Steel sports road wheels were standard on the Mk1 RS2000. Many owners upgraded later on to the RS Alloys.
wheels wrong,steering wheel wrong
Simply lovely that. Don't understand why people use Mathewsons.! Best sell them yourself. What with his commission
