I was an accountant for a government contractor. We had to use government accounting software. It's sooooo confusing and non-user friendly, took a team of over 20 people just to produce standard reports
Love how they use consultants and intermediaries such as "Equitable Social Solutions" so more people can grift. Makes it more difficult to follow the money. It's also why they rejected offers from landlords directly.
Much of government spending works this way, and why politicians become millionaires. Unfortunately little of the money ever makes it to where it is supposed to go.
