Yeah I'd of really liked an epilogue or something at the end of the book, so she could tie up the loose strings with her friends. I really liked the friendship Dawn and Emily had, I guess I just wanted to see it resolved the same way it was with Sloane. :/
It's impossible to read the title without singing the Kelly Clarkson song. IMPOSSIBLE. I got this book from the library and I'm so mad that I couldn't appreciate the inside of the dust jacket! It's so cool! I agree with pretty much everything you say in this review. :) I love the plot and the way the list didn't really go as planned. I just filmed my review of this yesterday, but it's a short and non-spoilery one so I didn't really go into depth. I think if people want to know more of my in-depth feelings I'll just direct them to this video. :) I would totally read a spin-off book about Gideon! That would be awesome. Morgan Matson's books are definitely very Sarah Dessen-ish! (Although Sarah will always be my fave. :D) I've read Amy and Roger's Epic Detour, but haven't gotten to Second Chance Summer yet. I just finished this book and I really loved it but ... Spoiler alert I would have liked it if she fixed it with dawn before the end of the novel and I also really want a Gideon spin off maybe with another girl that we haven't met yet and Gideon as the love interest. I'm sure that dawn and Emily would end up talking and hopefully making up after the book ended what with Emily with Frank and Dawn dating Frank's best friend Collins but I would have really liked the Emily and Dawn friendship to fix within the pages of the book. Otherwise this book was amazing! And really got me out of my reading slump I have been reading a lot of sci fi and fantasy lately and needed some contemporary to get me out of my reading slump :)

I started laughing so badly when I found the song because it was a song that someone sang at my high school graduation that was a few weeks ago and the person at graduation made a mistake in the lyrics and had to restart and then when I found the song I was like Omg this song that I called frank and Emily's song in my head is the one that was at graduation and then I reread the scene while listing to the original version of the song and omfg it was amazing!

I am tempted to buy an extra copy to use the second dust jacket as a poster because I love the inside of it! I also was so excited to find out that Katie Finn is a pen name for Morgan Matson, so we actually have another book from her this summer too (Broken Fences, Hearts and Other Things to Mend).
I just reread this book and fell back in love with it. There were a few times I found myself calling Emily, Anna because of the similarities between this book and Anna and the French Kiss. The only thing I didn't like was that I wanted to see Emily resolve things with Dawn and Collins. When everyone shut her out, I felt her need for Sloan more than ever. I've been a situation where my newest group of friends that live near by cut me off (although in my case I didn't do anything... one friend was off of her meds) and all I wanted was the comfort of my old friends who live 400 miles away. Anyway I loved watching your review. I loved seeing someone else just as enthusiastic as about this story. Morgan Matson needs to get put out a new book like yesterday lol.

If you are reading this book and are really bored in the beginning keep going because it gets better.

Sandra Perdiguero is very easy to read (if you mean this book in particular) no complications or anything. For me, I rather read in the language that the author wrote it, if it's possible I think is so much better. When they translate books from english to spanish for me you lose some content, not plot related things, but little inside jokes and tiny details. :)

Sandra Perdiguero is very easy to read (if you mean this book in particular) no complications or anything. For me, I rather read in the language that the author wrote it, if it's possible I think is so much better. When they translate books from english to spanish for me you lose some content, not plot related things, but little inside jokes and tiny details. :)
