  • In this video, Dr. Meaghan Nelsen, DO, FACOOG demonstrates the principles of her approach to an Osteopathic evaluation of patients in the prepartum period, specifically during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
This video is the 1st video in a series of videos designed as a supplement to Dr. Nelsen's 2022 OMED/ACOOG Presentation "An Osteopathic Approach to the 4th Trimester".
It is not intended as a complete instructional video and should not be considered a source of complete OMT instruction.
Instead, it should be treated as a supplement to independent learning using primary Osteopathic Manipulation instructional resources. Clinical skills are best learned and developed with support from faculty in the context of a complete Osteopathic Medical School Curriculum and additional continuing medical education live practical OMT skills sessions.
Osteopathic Clinical Skills is a channel dedicated to discussing and exploring Osteopathic Clinical Skills concepts for medical students, residents, and clinicians and presenting them in an easy to understand manner.
