- Watch the full episode 7 of H2O: Just Add Water! The strange old woman makes a reappearance at the marine park, and gives Cleo a mysterious warning not to look at the full moon. The other girls, however, are convinced the old woman is crazy, and ignore the warning, going ahead with Emma's planned surprise party for her father. At the party, however, Emma sees the reflection of the full moon in a bowl of punch, and then starts acting very strange, losing her inhibitions and being rude to the guests.

So far we never have seen Rikki's family or her home, and her face when Emma reads the speech about her dad kinda says it all. Everyone has a perfect family except for Rikki it seems, which makes her the most relateable character tbh.
Pfft, oh please. Yes, Rikki's family isn't perfect, she only has a dad and they live pretty poorly. But instead of getting a job, Rikki does whatever she wants.
I don't see how this is relatable and when you just suffer but don't do anything to change the situation, it's just stupid.

My theory is that becoming a mermaid imprints the natural mermaid psyche in their subconscious; the full moon suppressed her humanity. Hence why Emma is acting so inhuman and desiring to live in the water at Mako island.

My theory is her humanity is suppressed by the full moon; allowing the mermaid instinct imprinted by the transformation to dominate instead. Thus explaining why she is so much uninhibited, as the sequel series shows natural mermaids to be similar; her craving for fish, believing humans are strange and her strong desire to go to Mako.

@@ale08a98 thanks. Plus secondly I think the moon spell also boosts the "mating instinct" as well. Hence why Emma (and in the future Cleo and other one (I can't tell Emma and Rikki apart) are so carnally hungry for their loved interests. Even when Cleo turns into a siren while under the spell, while she charmed and enjoyed the attention the boys gave her, she only moves on Lewis.
I love how Cleo says "There's something different about her" and "They're really nice" in the exact same way.

Cleo has the perfect job doing ice cream and being with dolphins working with them. Miss Chatman old woman is nice and helpful caring lady but kinda creepy especially at first. Love the girls outfits they look gorgeous and love Emma's shoes. Swimming with dolphins and in moon pool and swimming in ocean under the sea looks fun so pretty.
