For this comparison the A129 used 27 Mb/s bitrate MOD instead of its default 20 Mb/s. Pause video to check license plate readability. Notice the A119 V3 deeper colours and improved fine detail.
The A 119 is sharper . Where can we find this firmware?
The A119 V3 firmware v1.00 is not compatible with the old A119 V1 or V2 models. The V3 firmware currently contains a few BUGs I found , waiting for new version now.
Still the A119 is sharper then the A129. In my opinion.
License plates look way better on the A119v3
Can you compare them at 1080p@60 vs 1080p@60. I use 60fps to help reduce motion blur. I want to see if the new A119v3 sensor is better at this resolution.

Firmware for A119 V3 is still in early days and being adjusted, load FW1.02 to gain High 30Mb/s bitrate for maximum detail. The A119 V3 doesn't support second camera but the A129 Duo and Pro both have Rear cameras. Modified Firmware will be released after A129 Pro is announced.

depends on your definition for 'better' // for front and rear camera recording A129 wins // for best image 1440p resolution wins over 1080p // for lowest power drain and longest Parking Mode battery life A119V3 wins // for best Wifi model A129 wins since A119 doesn't support Wifi.

I am torn between this two, which you will pick and why? Anyone please
Gain Front + Rear vehicle protection buy the A129 Duo, the A119V3 is single channel Front camera only. For near perfect image detail, clarity and realistic color without MODs plus higher 1440p resolution buy A119V3. Remember when using A129 WIFI APP it throttles video bitrate to 4 Mb/s from 20 to reduce heat and maintain connection. Always disable WIFI when driving for maximum video detail bitrate. Consider buying the expensive A129 PRO Duo 2160p 4K Front camera + 1080p Rear camera which out performs the A119V3 but it gets hot.
