I regularly eat at the Gardner Cafe run by Brighton Junk Food Project and will be volunteering after this lockdown. Fantastic opportunity to socialise and get involved with the community.
What an Amazing thing to do at this time!!!! The simplest of things can make the biggest difference!!!! It is good to see some positive interactions on social media
I volunteer doing the food prep at this church café in Brighton every week and it is brilliant - great people, great food, great project! I've loved getting to know the other volunteers there and the chef Daniel is a truly wonderful guy. At a time when it's easy to feel frustrated and powerless, being a part of this group has put a spring back in my step.
Thank you so much for this wonderful message. I'm glad to know there's good people out there like you, Paul, chef Daniel (i've said hey to him thru Twitter), and everyone else there in Brighton. I hope to get there in person one day, the town looks beautiful. And please I look forward to any good updates. Cheers to that spring in your step!!
Love the fact that food is being “rescued!” Great informative video!
