Thank you guys! My husband just bought him a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and he bought me a 2020 Dodge Durango last year. We didn't know any of this stuff. I didn't know the P button was for the vehicle to park itself. I have a hard time backing that big suv up cause I'm scared I'll hit something even with the camera. So thank you so much for taking the time to help people like me understand these vehicles. Y'all are doing an awesome job!
The Jeep will also do the left or the right side by turning on your turn signal on. If you want the right side to park turn signal to the right, if you want the car to park to the left turn your turn signal onto the left.

@@anthonymannarino3376 yea man, its pretty easy. A GC w/a factory tow package can tow 6200 w/the v6. 7200 w/the v8. without the tow package, you can tow 3500. Super fun note, the Durango with the tow and go can tow 8700lbs!
Properly equipped also means a hitch that is a weight distributional, a brake controller and a trailer with electronic brakes, and the heavy duty transmission cooler.
The main difference maker is what Jeep calls "heavy duty engine cooling" and load leveling suspension in the rear. So with the full limit tow package or ""Trailer Tow Group IV" you would get the actual thru bumper hitch and wiring for lights of course, the full sized spare, Nivomat rear load leveling suspension, 180A alternator, dual radiator fans and larger radiator, and an auxiliary transmission oil cooler. That is the full Tow Group IV package which gives you 6200 lbs - V6/7200 lbs - V8 capacity. If you are missing any of those main components then you are supposed to limit it to 3500 lbs. I hope that helps explain it all.😊
Under the seat on driver side has electronic things and passenger holds the smaller battery for the start stop mode. It's a smaller type battery . It's not for the whole car.
They’re not headaches,they’re actually very reliable. Had 125,000 on my overland summit when I traded it on my current summit that has 67,000 miles. ZERO problems. According to some surveys taken less than 4% of owners have quadralift problems. Not bad numbers, I would buy another with QD again,no worries. It’s worth it for the better ride vs conventional suspension.
Yes as all these Jeeps get older and the rubber seals start to fail on the hydraulic lift and the warranties have expired we will hear lots of bitching LOL

@@MilesBishop1 Yup, you don't want to be stuffing guns and other hard stuff in there unless you check first to be sure you aren't going to damage contacts or short out a chunk of electronics that was not designed for rough handling. Also, the compartment under the front passenger seat actually contains 2 batteries. The main battery and the auto start battery.

Thank you. I am here because I am currently driving a rental while my 2020 Honda HRV is at the autobody shop and just wanted to learn some features. I really don't find I can be the owner of one. I find it cumbersome to say the least. I definitely made the best choice buying the HRV.

3:50 For me the ASCM is in there for the air ride. I wouldn’t mess in that area at all, unless you’re a professional doing diagnostics or repairs.
The headlights also automatically turn on when you put it in snow mode :)
The empty compartment under the driver side seat is only empty on the lower trim levels. On my 14 Summit that compartment is occupied.
Does the auto pilot also exist in my 2015 JGC ecodiesel overland?

BTW If you bought your car new from a Jeep dealer, your sales person should have shown you the self parking. If they didn't, that's a real shame.

On my 2018 trail hawk that compartment under driver seat is full of electronics to help control air ride suspension.
