Yesss!!! 5XYZ!!! I inserted a caption on my WORKOUT results. As much product as I used, my hair was able to maintain its shape/hold, but it doesn't look as fresh/sleek as when I first styled it, right after an intense workout. I have to keep my hair tied in a scarf during a workout or it will puff/frizz! To keep this style in for a few days, more gel is required 😩😩😩 I'm washing my hair ASAP to get this stuff out!

I have thick long 4c and when I tell you that no gel or edge control lays my edges down. I’ve tried on numerous occasions and it has been a big fail. Long story short I let my edges be free because clearly they’re not meant to be “layed” and I’m fine with that. Great results thou 😍

Yes you have always looked extremely young without makeup and weave/wigs. I love the peekaboo green eye-shadow! I don't have that kind of time or skill for makeup. Lipstick and occasionally foundation and mascara.

I hardly ever do ponytails and honestly, my scalp is sooo sensitive to tension, so I barely do styles that require a scrunchie. You're so right about the breakage! But having a cute switch up right before wash day is everything ! Thanks for tuning in!

I am not sure what texture my hair is, however sad to say a pony tail ( professionally styled] really did a number on my hair. Definitely too much tension, products after a take down and fresh wash. Glad to hear your suggestions on how to safely install. You definitely look like a teenager with out hair & makeup!

Great tips about adding the oil over the pomade cause hunny I've used it because and had that crazy white residue left.. lol i had to cover it up with black eye shadow. For 4c hair a great combination for gel is a edge booster strong hold water-based mini pomade with olive oil eco styler gel. It really slicks the hair down also don't forget to use a scarf to hold the hair down.

You right not all 4c is the same...some 4c hair is fizzy and some is not hence why some have curls..some 4c is thin and some is thick.. I have thick semi frizzy 4a/b hair. I’ve learned to tame my frizz by keeping my cuticles down. Meaning when I shampoo I use my tangle teezer to brush the shampoo down my hair ...I don’t pile my hair on top and scrub anymore.

As a base I recommend aunt Jackie’s dont shrink flaxseed will get your 4C into a pointyail very quickly and then go over the top with something for frizz

Hi Sweateart loved and subbed. When natural hair vids first started it was only as you say "True 4C" (i.e. 4C/4Z/5G) with a sprinkle of 4B.
