- After over a month in Turkey, it's time to continue the journey.
In this episode we are leaving Aladaglar.
We stoped in MOUNT NEMRUT and ERZURUM.
The owner of the Defender 110 invited us to is very nice restaurant for tea + breakfast.
To go to ARMENIA, we had to go thru GEORGIA because there is no open borders between Turkey and Arménia.
The border we crossed was on the side of Kartsakhi Lake.

A tip for install and removing heavy tires. Use a long bar, I see the jack handle laying there. Use the handle under the tire for leaverage and the other hand to support. It takes a little practice to get the lift/balance correct, but it makes removing install large tires easier.

Concerning the 'clic clic', you should check the lenght of the cone nut who lock the wheel spacer on the axle hub. Sometimes the cone is too long and touch the hub before lock the wheel spacer. On mine, i reduced the cone of the nut with an angle grinder.

Thank you. :) Overall yes we are in a good mood. It will be hard not to. But I (Steph) can get grumpy and stressed when it comes to laundry and mess inside the camper. Haha . Otherwise I am good putting up with Leigh. This morning he woke me up at 3:58am. No big deal as we are on our way to the laundromat. :D

Haha! "It's a bush mans blow mate!" I love it! Missed that the first time I watched it.. When watching through the patreon app you can't we the video in landscape mode so try and rewatch some videos in the RUclips app instead. Did you notice any significant change in rear stability when you removed the spacers? I'm thinking of getting new wheels for the winter and want to get a good (wider) stance, either with spacers or offset on the rims. But perhaps it's not a very good idea with the camper?! On the other hand it really seem to be a divided opinion on spacers, many different answers. With spacers at least I can return to normal, that won't work with a rim offset.

With the spacers off I don't notice any difference in stability and there is no horrible clicking noise so for sure they are the cause.
I got the weight rating on them and it's 2200kg per axle. I think we were slightly over on the rear.
Mate we have had so many opinions given to us about spacers with most of them being negative.
It makes sense that spacers would put extra strain on bearings, CVs and stub axle.
I really like the tyre size and don't want to go smaller so I thought about doing like you mentioned and going for a larger offset rim.
Although some people say this is just like having spacers...
It's a tough one.
I tried running with the spacers off the front but the wheels rub hard on the radius arms when turning so had to leave them on.
It's all trial and error to find what works, unfortunately the trials are certainly not bloody cheap...
