These two wonderful people are SO inspiring! At 20:11 Laurie talks a bit about getting tired of the sound of her own voice (which led her to invent a voice changer.) [I love hearing the creative processes of others!] From where I sit, I don't hear my own creative voice enough. So, I make my family read my writings aloud to me now and then. I tell them that I like hearing my own voice come from their mouths. What a happy fluke to find this today. Thank you @92nd Street Y, for the post!

I am in awe of how Laurie talks about loosing her archive through flooding of her basement.
    I consider each word,thought and thing that Laurie spoke,thought or touched as i r r e p l a c a b l e memorabilia of a female genius.
I met her in 1995 after a concert of hers at the WILTERN THEATRE ,Los Angeles. She was freshly in love with Lou Reed and g l o w i n g.We hit if off immediately, but I needed to leave prematurely.

Just looking at a couple of Laurie Anderson clips and thought you might like one of her get togethers with Neil Gaiman.

At 46:25, Laurie Anderson cupping her ear and Neil Gaiman shading his eyes is a happy accident/striking image..

He's taking over. Completely. And he probably thinks it totally ok. Well, it is not, Neil. Most of us actually wanted to listen to Laurie.

Lets all hold hands and hope the big bad Trump and Brexit goes away. I have always been a Laurie fan but I confess it is starting to sound a bit predicable.
