I completed PhD in Chemistry in 2015 and got GC under EB-1 in 2018 then become an American citizen in 2023….its very common and routine process for most of the PhDs from Asian countries… Anyhow congrats …
Here in USA most of the companies support for MBA… if apple sponsors then it is EB-1B which is not even close to EB-1A… FYI- I didnt mean to make a negative comment but wanted to convey it’s pretty standard practice for most of the immigrants here in US. Just telecasting/adv on TV may be little …
Exactly, similar story. An EB1 GC, citizen myself. I have seen this news about this guy in a few websites, on Eenadu website, and now on ETv. Congrats to him. Not trying to demean his efforts. But there are almost another 2000 Indians per year who qualify under EB1 for a GC. Getting 4 or 5 recommendation letters, publications, citations, patents, all norm under this category. I agree, the stats, say of almost 9000 EB1’s every year, desis take almost 2-3k per year. Most of these 2-3k were researchers before. For the past few years there are a significant EB1c’s, (misusing under the guise of international managers).
He didnt do an MBA lol. It's an executive MBA. They are not same. Anyone working or doing a business can do an executive MBA, someone people do it online too
Myself and more than 10 of my friends come from remote areas and poor family backgrounds. We were awarded prestigious fellowships and prominent residences during our PhDs, and we have all received our citizenships. We never saw it as something particularly great, as many people receive citizenship. Anyway, congrats

great achievement, but i guess given way more credit to a EB1 GC than it needs. Good to know that his parents were capable of supporting him till he completed his PHD (stipend is not that great unless you are a fellow doctor). a lot of people i knew here couldn't pursue because of the dependency of family here and at home financially. you would be surprised to know the number of people is way greater that you would imagine. i personally know several people submitting EB1 via PHD including friends and own family as well and got their GCs. you would need to dedicate your channel for an entire year to run scrolling for the overall number haha
Congratulations to Ravi Teja! Viewers should realize that Bharat economy needs such talent to work in Bharat. America sponsors such visas to grow their economy.
