There was something magical about being a teenager in the 90's we didn't have any social media, streaming music, no one was glued to their screens 24/7 we just had genuine human connections and interactions. We didn't give a shit about social norms, politics and if you got offended or not, no one was politically correct and no one made a big deal about anything, there was less drama. We had real experiences that if you weren't there for or in a certain location you just missed it, no one recorded anything with their phones so you could watch it later. We got our news from newspapers that were delivered to your front door and on tv at 6 and 10pm from basically four channels, you were lucky if you had cable tv. If you wanted to watch something on tv at a later date you had to pop in a vhs tape in your vcr and make sure you're tv was set to channel 3, if it wasn't you were screwed. @Piru Chess Team it's the band I sang for 1988 - 2008. My brother is guitarist and is still got the band together with a new singer and bass player and drummer. You can find the new videos on here and plenty of the old ones with me.
10:31 The thing that kills me is the music in the background. It’s all metal and grunge and alternative music. No rap or hip hop. Where I grew up in the mid-90s, we only listened to rap at these house parties. But I was the only one of my friends who listened to other genres of music. Today, it seems like it’s all rap and electronic music, with the occasional rock song. Crazy how much party culture has changed in just 30 years.
White kids raised in America listened to their kind of music and us Blacks & Hispanics listened to our kind of music. Not everyone is from the city or school of hard knocks lol At 40 years old I listen to a little bit of everything. 1) Motown R&B Solid Gold Oldies 2) Rap & Hip Hop 3) Alternative Music/Pop, Rock N Roll, etc.
So where are all the cell phones in this video?? How come people aren't ignoring each other with their nose buried in their phone?? Oh yeah it's 1995. That's when I graduated. Loved those parties!!!!!
You rock man this is what growing up is meant to be about not like today with everyone stuck on their phones. The cult of personality song that's used by a wrestler called CM Punk
I work at Swains in Port Angeles! I was just thinkin about what a time capsule that place is. I miss those dumb drunken dramatic nights haha. Another great vid!
Another quality epic in the log of some of your life Senor Enders! Its wierd how I find myself recognizing your old friends from previous videos , and how it brings a smile to my face. Its interesting to see how people change physically and sort of relate that to the time period and culture and music of that era as well. I caught some WILCO from their first album in the background in some of the shots and it brought me back! Also...this one has some of the BEST HAIR of any of the videos ! (and that says a lot!). WELL DONE MAN!
The late 70's and early 80's parties were very similar. Miss those days, luckily we didn't even have video cams quite yet. Beers, weed, playing cards, music and chasing tail!
Crap!! I have not heard someone mentioned Milli Venilli in years. I use to like their tune Blame It On The Rain when I was just a sprout. When I learned they where miming there songs it sucked cause as a wee lad I did enjoy there music. Thanks Len for another upload and glad to see your new content. Cheers and salutations!!
Sonia hand reeling the cassette tape is a total sign of the times. Oh, and I spotted the old guy right off the bat... And it wasn't me. There's one at every party. Hint, he's pretty tall and he likes his leather jackets.
it's not true, Swain's does not have Everything. Go Wolves!! this is my town, this is my time, thanks for the uploads, I wish I had a video camera back then.
Damn.. i wish i was a teen back then.. Anyway, i'm 22 years old and i'm going to a homemade party at a friend's house later..Woohoo! Keep it cool guys! And have a great night!!!
I was born in '87, but still remember those Loony Tunes NBA McDonalds cups the chick in white was carrying (3:52). Growing up, we had the whole set and used them for literally everything. Naturally, I always wanted to grab the Jordan one!
The best parties! Group of friends being themselves. Loud music: some of your favorites, some new stuff that you get turned into for the first time. Hours going by and you become aware that 'these are the best times, right now!'. Making plans, laughing, getting silly, making fun of each other, etc. I really like smart phones, but, this get together right now, in 2022, would have everyone's faces buried in them. And the big ears of the governments and advertisers are taking notes of all of it. Blecch. Hint: You could play these old videos back to back, 24/7 and really confuse governments & advertisers😅😅.
Me too dude! Growing up in Poway, CA all we did was skate, try to find weed and go to parties. Sometimes Blink before the 182 was playing the parties. Such a fukn rad time and place to grow up I couldn't have asked for better. One of our friends filmed a lot of it but idk what happened to him.
I was a freshman in College in 1995….so this is completely and totally spot on for me. I also remember having a pager as a junior in HS - and my mom accusing me of selling drugs. 😂. Fast forward about 7-8 years later and mom was rocking a cell phone before I had one - to which I asked her,…”So,…uhhh,…Mom. You selling drugs?” Now days there’s something wrong with you or people look at you sideways if you DONT own a cell phone. Great stuff Len,…and almost each and every person in your videos I can relate to in my “crew” of folks I hung out with! Thanks again & Godspeed! PS - I did have a quick question. Did you ever run across that one person in the group that absolutely despised being recorded and hated every minute of it? Just curious,…bc whenever I had a video camera - most were hamming it up! But occasionally you’d have that guy or girl that would put their hand over the camera like famous people do to the paparazzi.
@@LenEnders ha ha! Shoot I wouldn’t mind any of my strapping self when I was a young buck. (It used to be hangovers would last a few hours. But now they last a few days. 😂). The car episode was also epic! You’ve got more than enough to make a movie Len - because your episodes & escapades are so relatable (to me & likely everyone else who lived in that time period! That’s why they’re so great!). The music in the background truly makes the films tho! Cult of personality, ppl arguing over Milli Vanilli, Warrant, Metallica’s old stuff - all classic & some cheesy. But thats what it was. BTW - You could also see when the music scene started to change to hip hop a bit in the early 2000’s (I believe). I’m talking about the Halloween house party - because Dre & Snoop took over the music scene. That’s exactly what happened to me and my friends with hip hop music and “the chronic” and “doggy style” albums back in the day. Its completely the same & right on cue. Thanks again for sharing & keep ‘em coming sir!

R.I.P. Casper. Kids was such a kick ass movie, totally encapsulated the 90's.
Damn I wish I could continue to party like I did when I was in my teens, but I am heading into my 50s I can't physically do that anymore
Another winner. Thanks LEN!
So where are all the cell phones in this video?? How come people aren't ignoring each other with their nose buried in their phone?? Oh yeah it's 1995. That's when I graduated. Loved those parties!!!!!
I love that you had operation ivy playing in the background
I was a sophomore in 95…this scene brought back some great memories. What was that girls problem that made her so violent?? Poor guy☹️
She was just too loaded & not finding him amusing 😆
@⭐Heather⭐ u should go on TikTok sometime & look up videos about how GenX aged different
She can't hold her drink. That's full on disrespect and in my circle of friends she would have been put in her place by everyone...not cool.
SWAIN'S!!!!
idk who you are but even jus watching your video brings back lots make ya think bout those years hahahha
This reminds me of my high school days. Miss those times
❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you for mentioning wilco, never have heard of this band before! Listening to their 1995 album right now and this is a masterpiece❤
That kick to the head was epic!🥋
None of the places I lived in the 90s had a tv, just people interacting with each other, plenty of table games & good times
haha! blasting Nelson just having a great time. I was born 1 year after this.
'....and you can't have MILLI VANILLI!'. 😆
I was 17 in 1995. This is the opposite side of the country but could have really been one of our parties.
4:20 is one of the most epic things I've ever seen
Oh the irony of that timestamp!
When I learned they where miming there songs it sucked cause as a wee lad I did enjoy
there music.
Thanks Len for another upload and glad to see your new content.
Cheers and salutations!!
0:32 I love how in the mid 90s there were stragglers like this chick who straight up refused to change her look and was stuck in 1989 with her style 🤣
Omg Len entertaining as always 😂 can’t wait to see more!! Thanks for sharing
Honestly, After The Rain is a Great Album from Brothers Nelson
I kinda feel bad for Burger King hat guy
Same lol
Grew up 175 miles from there. I was a senior that year. Miss them days and miss them Washington parties!
Never heard Nelson playing at a 90s party or talk about Milli Vanilli LOL But everything else in this is so 90s. Love your vids
Sonia hand reeling the cassette tape is a total sign of the times. Oh, and I spotted the old guy right off the bat... And it wasn't me. There's one at every party. Hint, he's pretty tall and he likes his leather jackets.
Was fortunate enough to been born in the 90s, the 90s were awesome so were the early 2000s. Miss the simpler times.
Holy fuck len. Already watched this 3 times in a row. So good. Keep it up man.✌🏼.
1995! I was 5 years old lol so sick! Hope your having a great one Len!
never ever take these videos of the internet, insane time capsule
People smoking indoors? Holy hell, this IS retro!
You should see the 70's & 80's movies, people smoking in malls, hospitals, airports and airplanes.
Bruh I love how they’re from Washington like me lmao soon as I saw Sequim I was like dang 😂 shoutout from Puyallup
Awe yea, that Op Ivy in the background at the end. 🙌
Len the legend
My favorite part taking the tape out of the tape player and winding it up with the finger❤❤❤
it's not true, Swain's does not have Everything.
Go Wolves!! this is my town, this is my time,
thanks for the uploads, I wish I had a video camera back then.
U WANT SUM GHETTO COOKIE?… I CAN’T 😂🤣😂🤣
Damn.. i wish i was a teen back then.. Anyway, i'm 22 years old and i'm going to a homemade party at a friend's house later..Woohoo! Keep it cool guys! And have a great night!!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was born in '87, but still remember those Loony Tunes NBA McDonalds cups the chick in white was carrying (3:52). Growing up, we had the whole set and used them for literally everything. Naturally, I always wanted to grab the Jordan one!
Hi! We met at the castle, last night. As I’m watching your videos, Adam is my cousins dad!! Such a small world.
OMG No way!!!! That's SO crazy and how random!! I love it!
It was really nice meeting u, had a ton of fun that night 🙂🙂🙂
The best parties! Group of friends being themselves. Loud music: some of your favorites, some new stuff that you get turned into for the first time. Hours going by and you become aware that 'these are the best times, right now!'. Making plans, laughing, getting silly, making fun of each other, etc.
I really like smart phones, but, this get together right now, in 2022, would have everyone's faces buried in them. And the big ears of the governments and advertisers are taking notes of all of it. Blecch. Hint: You could play these old videos back to back, 24/7 and really confuse governments & advertisers😅😅.
Back in my hardcore metal badass days I think I would have melted if I walked into a party that was playing Nelson 😂😂😂
I never imagined I’d see the day a guy with a Slayer poster on his wall would unironically sing a Nelson song
I am a 45 year old metal head and I don't think I could tolerate Poison or Nelson for even a second. LOL!
10:00 WOW !😮 it's operation ivy playing in the background, great band !
Love Op. Ivy. Eventually led to Rancid
Is that operation ivy around 11:40? Nice!!!
I was 15 in '95, those were the days!!!!
Lmfaoooo "you want some ghetto cookie?" LMFAO
Len always posts The good stuff
"You CAN'T have Milli Vanilli"
I bet that dude's crushed
Goddamn this is amazing I can’t stop watching. Thanks so much
Plot twist: This is just a reenactment.
He's just spit on that other person's mouth... I am SO grossed out 😷😅
i already feel bad for the poor girl hosting the party
I remember rewinding tapes with a pencil, when it comes out!
You selling drugs?”
Now days there’s something wrong with you or people look at you sideways if you DONT own a cell phone.
Oh yeah, for sure. Fleeing from the camera! Including people that don't want me posting videos of them from back in the day on RUclips today
I still listen to my stereo,the 90s way 😂😂❤
Vlogging in the 80s/90s that's awesome haha.
lol great video! I miss the 80's and 90's! What was the deal with that girl beating on and spitting on that kid? like what started it?
Dude was hammered being funny, she was hammered and didn't think he was funny. Then he asked to be spit on and it was all over lol
@@LenEnders lmfao! He didnt mind being spit on until that dude offered he was like "Back off" :)
Drunk kids acting stupid. I fear the day when some of my late 1990s teenaged drunken stupidity surfaces on RUclips.
Yeah she sucked. Equal rights but if he kicked her in the head this video would of been evidence and the kid with the dreads would be in jail… go figure
