Wow, just $439K! I had to rewind the video to make sure I heard that right. That is a steal for such a gorgeous house, the property, and the 5 outbuildings on the home! That house would be in the millions where I live. Beautiful home and beautifully done video. Thank you for sharing, I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed your video. Now, I just need to come up with $439k :)
It is a steal for sure! Personally, it is way too much house for me! But it is beautiful with those sun porches, windows, French doors, and the history of the house!
As you entered the home, the very first thing i noticed (to love) about this house is the stairs to the left of the hallway vs the right side - which is what we most often see and i dont like. The staircase in this house is spectacular!! And, then, after i observed that, you actually detailed (around 4m mark) that the stairs had been moved. Great foresight on behalf of those who restored this home !!!!!!! ❤️
I can not believe someone hasn’t bought this house n property at that amazing price. I was blown away by how big it was. Loved the barrel ceilings. I definitely would envy the person who buys this gorgeous mansion. Just the history alone n what still stands is priceless. Thank you Lane n Kevin for sharing this beautiful home. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍
Real estate is based solely on one thing repeated 3x …location, location location. While I’m sure Arkansas has beautiful things to offer, it’s not in the top 25+ spots that most people would list as a place they’d like to move to.
Those dark floors are gorgeous. The camera work is excellent, it's a nice rarity, so many video creators don't provide the views to see the homes properly. Well done.
What a beautiful home, and what a story it has. I'm gobsmacked on the price😲that's so cheap. If that was here where I live it would be at the very least 2.5 million easy. Hope it gets someone who will appreciate all its history and beauty 😊❤️
It's all about location, location, location. But, it is only 20 mins from Conway and 50 from Little Rock. It is gorgeous and very well done. Thank you Lane and Kevin for showing us this beauty.
Central Arkansas girl here. I know there are so many houses in downtown Morrilton with exterior flagstone I love them. This house is gorgeous. There are many beautiful historical homes in Arkansas. I’m so happy to see you highlight them. I have an adoration for these homes, I hate when they fade into decay. Love your channel!
Thank you for this tour! I love your zeal that you show while showing us around, and extensive knowledge about your field of work. Seems like a steal at that price. Thanks again Laine and Kevin 🙂
This is an exceptionally beautiful home. So unique in its history, as well as the ownership, and their professions. Restored in such a lovely fashion. Absolutely could lie in this home and be very comfortable and am sure many others could as well! But to live there would be an honor and would respect the history and its deep iroots.
Gorgeous! I can imagine the past owners living there and loving that house. I hope a future owner will really love that as much. I always love the details and the fact that it has retained so much of it's original hardware and ambience.
Wow, those floors are wonderful & do not appear to lean one way or other! Seems as if most houses that age would have done some uneven settling. Just beautiful!!
Thank you for this wonderful tour! I love learning about these old houses so far from the houses we have here in Sweden… Oh, and might I add both you and the cameraman look great, both when doing tours and when renovating 😁
You had me at the dying couch. This house is really inviting . Some of these older homes feel like museums, but not this one. I hope the next owners take good care of it and are not too tall!! Thank you for the tour.
It's gorgeous. The first thing that attracted me was the beautiful marble table as you walk in. I love sun porches too. I was just saying to my husband today that I would love to own an historical house. I am very attracted to them. I would like to look more into the history of that house. I love that it is bright and sunny there. I like the renovations too. I sent this video to him, maybe he will become inspired :)
Such an interesting place. You could putter around for ages, just soaking up the history. I love the kitchen, which to me has an early 1900s feel about it, even though it's modern. I like the dark cream and black, which is similar to what I want to do with my 1931 kitchen, to remedy the 1970s partial remodel and make it cohesive. The range hood design is exactly what I've been looking for. Another great tour, Laine & Kevin. I'm sure you and the fluffy-puppies are glad to be home. Funny to see snow on the hot tub; we had a high of 83 here today. :(
@15:22 I'm scared of heights and my throat dropped into my stomach looking down the staircase. Pretty scary even through a video! What a realistic tour! But the architecture is gorgeous.
What a gorgeous home and property! I almost fell over when you said that price ! I hope someone bought it ASAP. In Canada the exchange would be $600K equivalent to $439K USD but that house, plus other 5 properties and acreage would be priced at least $3 million or more here in Canada.
Really thrills my soul that these treasures are recognized not only for their charm and beauty, but their historical value to America. Thank you yet again for sharing another beauty with us. I’d never see it otherwise!
Absolutely beautiful; I love homes with history. I think I would donate the " dying couch" to a museum if it were my home lol. I've seen beautiful bottles adorning trees in other videos from / in the South usually on the outside of the house not the interior & have wondered what they mean ( holiday decor?) Very interesting nonetheless.
Always loved Arkansas historic homes- Old Washington, Camden, etc. Not really on the national radar like Natchez or Charleston- thanks Laine- I had seen photos of this one over the years but was never sure where it was-
for around a million AUD I have one word SOLD would if it were possible be my next Home/Lifestyle amazing and Thank you for showing this remarkable property
If you ever see a historic home for sale around $300,000, in Arkansas or Mississippi, I’d love a chance to buy it. I’m originally from Helena where they had beautiful old homes. Ty and love your videos.
You an find that wallpaper. It was in my current master bedroom when I bought the house along with matching curtains covering the French Doors out to the pool.
The enormous interior French doors are funny. Sadly, my 1925 house had all of it's French doors removed before I got there, but to open or close those big doors you'd need to move a third of a roomful of furniture, so I kinda got why they did it.
An original kitchen? In an 1830’s home? It would be a separate building, with no refrigeration, an open flame fireplace to cook over, and no climate control. You’ll probably only see those in house museums
I just can't believe it. 440 thousand dollars for all that. Try that in most of Idaho and you'll get a nasty face and an attitude. Coming from an Idaho native who can no longer afford to live here. Beautiful property. I hope you find someone who loves it as much as we do. If I could I would make an offer right now.
Very similar to the pre-civil war home and property I grew up in. I'd really like to consider this home but concerned about the crime rate in the area, it's pretty high. @Laine can you offer any insight? You said you're not far from there. Beautiful tour, as always!
It’s 15/20 minutes from us, and our city is amazing. The city it’s in is quiet, small, and old. There are some amazing historic properties there, but it’s economically depressed. However I would 100% live there very happily. The crime in the area is majority domestic and drug related, which while unfortunate wouldn’t deter me from buying at all. And being on land it’s well isolated.
Contrary to popular myth 3rd floors were rarely ballrooms. And this was a tavern in what was literally the western front of the wilderness at the time. It was a place for trappers, traders and settlers to stop as they traveled through, not a fancy gathering place for parties.
See people keep picking on me because I'm short not quite 5'3' but almost, I knew people use to be shorter, I think I should start telling people" I'm not short, I'm Historically Accurate"

'Just' for my currency that's close to one million

Oh my, I was waiting to hear at least $3M. What a beauty 💕
As close to perfection as one could possibly get! Love every feature of this property!
♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍
Sadly so many people want the newest and most updated homes. I am like you, I love the history and grand beauty of these old homes.
The suburban tract house that I grew up in, 4 bedrooms and 2 baths built in 1982, is about the same price on Zillow as this.
I almost had my husband talked into it but he doesn't want to move to Arkansas.
Real estate is based solely on one thing repeated 3x …location, location location. While I’m sure Arkansas has beautiful things to offer, it’s not in the top 25+ spots that most people would list as a place they’d like to move to.
It's haunted bad.
What a BEAUTY! I love me some symmetry! 🥰😊😁
Those dark floors are gorgeous. The camera work is excellent, it's a nice rarity, so many video creators don't provide the views to see the homes properly. Well done.
Thank you Sandy!

Love these - Its so good to have someone who knows about historical architecture to explain these properties!
Oh how I LOVE this house! I seriously have been drooling over it for over a year. Be still my heart!!!
Damn, if only I had a cool half mil... 😆
Until then I suppose I'll just have to live vicariously through you!

I love love love your videos! Thanks for showing us this incredible historic home!
The current owner has it decorated PERFECTLY. The wallpapers stunning. It is not stuffed with furniture as too many historic homes can do.
Such a gem!! I can't help but imagine how different life would have been in 1830! Thank you for all of the incredible history you share with us! 🥰
Gorgeous,gorgeous, gorgeous.
This is a treasure! Imagine the different people who have visited here over the years. Thank you for another wonderful Thursday tour.🌸
Again, another great presentation and videography! That was fun.
Thank you for this tour! I love your zeal that you show while showing us around, and extensive knowledge about your field of work. Seems like a steal at that price. Thanks again Laine and Kevin 🙂
I love these videos! Really loved the stained glass windows in the second sun room. The blue bottles and bottle tree really caught my eye! Thank you!
Yes! Loved that blue bottle tree in that sunroom! Perfection!
What a beautiful property. I even love the paint color choices.
I love these tours, thank you😊
Oh, to win the lottery!! Love this place!
This is an exceptionally beautiful home. So unique in its history, as well as the ownership, and their professions. Restored in such a lovely fashion.
Absolutely could lie in this home and be very comfortable and am sure many others could as well! But to live there would be an honor and would respect the history and its deep iroots.
Thank you so much for this lovely tour!! Love Love Love this home!!!!

THANK YOU! Love these video.
Beautiful home.❤ the price that I'm sure is sold by now is unreal!!!!
Wow, those floors are wonderful & do not appear to lean one way or other! Seems as if most houses that age would have done some uneven settling. Just beautiful!!
OMG, I could just move in right now! Thank you, Laine, as always!
This is the best house you've ever featured!
If I wasn't 5'11... What a lovely home for an amazing price!!!!
Thank you for this wonderful tour! I love learning about these old houses so far from the houses we have here in Sweden…
Oh, and might I add both you and the cameraman look great, both when doing tours and when renovating 😁
You guys should buy this treasure, I would love watching you take care of it and give it your love. 🤍
You had me at the dying couch. This house is really inviting . Some of these older homes feel like museums, but not this one. I hope the next owners take good care of it and are not too tall!! Thank you for the tour.
Beautiful and such an interesting presentation🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Luv this house! Great price lots of room. Thx 4 sharing
I absolutely LOVE this home!!!

Okay you guys, you NEED to purchase this home. I love to see what you do with it!!!
So gorgeous and well priced.....I would buy it in a minute.

Beautiful
That china hutch in the dining room....yeah, I'd have to have that convey with the house. Amazing!
Oh my gosh I love it! At that price it has to have been snatched up by now.
@15:22 I'm scared of heights and my throat dropped into my stomach looking down the staircase. Pretty scary even through a video! What a realistic tour! But the architecture is gorgeous.
Same!

What a beautiful property. Love it.
Drop dead gorgeous!! I don’t know what else to say. I’m 5’5 but I wouldn’t mind bending down just a little to be in this beauty
I absolutel love this home
Thank you ☺️
Love the home! Love your green jacket..:)
Love all the green!
Stunning.
Absolutely beautiful; I love homes with history. I think I would donate the " dying couch" to a museum if it were my home lol.

Amazing price, beautiful house
Preciosa la casa muy acogedora!🇵🇷
That house needs you!
Wow maybe I should come be care taker! I love it
Gorgeous

Load it up on logs and hitch it to a mule team!!!! YES YES YES!!!! we live in a world today where we overly complicate everything LMAO :) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
for around a million AUD I have one word SOLD would if it were possible be my next Home/Lifestyle amazing and Thank you for showing this remarkable property
Beautiful! Greetings from the Netherlands.....
I LOVE your channel!!!
If you ever see a historic home for sale around $300,000, in Arkansas or Mississippi, I’d love a chance to buy it. I’m originally from Helena where they had beautiful old homes. Ty and love your videos.
What a beautiful home! I’d buy it just to invite you over to sip tea with me by the koi pond 😂
Look at you ROCKIN' those jeans!😄You look amazing, like always, and another beautiful home. Thank you!
A very reasonable price.
If this is meant to be your forever home, it'll happen ✨ what a bargasm, you couldn't get a 1 bedroom flat/condo for that in London or Los Angeles
I would make the first room in that upper level the livingroom and the second the bedroom, closer to the bathroom.
As much as you guys love historical homes,ya'll better grab that home quick.you and your hubby would be the perfect.......owners for that home.😺😻
You an find that wallpaper. It was in my current master bedroom when I bought the house along with matching curtains covering the French Doors out to the pool.
Amazing home & that price is low…I expected go to be at least a mil.
Loved the boots and enjoyed the tour
Being the good Irish woman I am, ... a Tavern turned House interests me. 😁☘️
The enormous interior French doors are funny. Sadly, my 1925 house had all of it's French doors removed before I got there, but to open or close those big doors you'd need to move a third of a roomful of furniture, so I kinda got why they did it.

Que linda casa!
nice!
💛💛💛
I should buy it and turn it into a tavern..
I want this house
Every home is beautiful but to pricey for my budget and I like history
cool
Wow
Very informative as always! Just one question, what is special about a cedar closet? (Idk if its something american bc im from europe)
They repel moths, which love to eat our wool clothes!
Very similar to the pre-civil war home and property I grew up in. I'd really like to consider this home but concerned about the crime rate in the area, it's pretty high.
@Laine can you offer any insight? You said you're not far from there.

I would have to have a working, wood burning fireplace.
I thought the third flr or upper flr would have been the ball room?
Contrary to popular myth 3rd floors were rarely ballrooms. And this was a tavern in what was literally the western front of the wilderness at the time. It was a place for trappers, traders and settlers to stop as they traveled through, not a fancy gathering place for parties.

@@OurRestorationNation Thanks for letting me know. Someone had a great buy 😊
*_The Dying Couch_* 2 people died on it. I know for sure NEVER sit on a couch named like that, it's Bad Luck.
People have been dying for millennia, and they all have to die somewhere. I doubt there’s anywhere you step where someone hasn’t died
What a steal! This house is incrediable. I do not think it will be on the market for long.....
just Curious, is this near Conway Arkansas ?
Yes. About 20 minutes away
