this is what i love to see. People getting out, having fun, and doing something productive...way to go everyone who's apart of this and please keep it up..thumbs up :) 5 stars :)
I've been looking for this song, I just couldnt remember this RUclips video and everytime I would get stuck or forget about in the Rabbit Hole during Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus Cray Cray Lyrics
Song name is Runaway Love (Osio Remix), Bobby d'Ambrosio, available on youtube. For those interested, this area is in the heart of central park on weekend afternoons/evenings, even in winter as long as the temp is low 50s or higher and dry. It's on "skaters road" where the music and skaters are found, between Sheep Meadow & Bandshell, all of which is the heart of Central Park. On the tube look up "central park skaters after party" & "coney island house on the boardwalk".
Me too! Reminded me of being in the Bronx with my cousins double-dutching in the middle of the street! Thamx RevInk. THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! Exercise at its finest!
Whahaaaaaaa this is friggin great LOL when i was younger in holland allmost all girls did it but this is realy something else,, i mean,, I am dutch, but im not gunna do this double whaha................... great movie, made me smile 5/5
I didn't see that news reel no, i live in Australia. I can see a bunch of girls that have set up to play double dutch in public with a loud stereo system playing in the middle of central park. I expect there are more discreet locations to play double dutch if you don't want to be seen. The sound system might be drawing people in too.
Who Could do better than them? That`s so awsome its impossible to do that for some people but for you its easier than walking or taeing on step forward loL!
Sorry, I can't stop there LOL!. I've just watched again. These girls are loving it, they have names on their shirts and are facing the crowd as well as soaking up the applause. The crowd is peppered with other exotic folk as you call them. I'm sure the crowd is watching in admiration at the skill of these girls. I don't know if they genuinely are exotic though? knowing most Americans, black or white I doubt they've ever left the country. Lighten up eh!. Fuck don't take that the wrong way too!.
@DonnyMacG There's all sorts of music in that area of the park on the weekends just head over to "skater's road" which is located between Sheep Meadow and the Bandshell. For more, search youtube using "central park skaters after party".
@469mack @469mack yes , she happens to be my principal, although I am now an alumni of the High School for Law Enforcement & Public Safety. She has also coached us throughout the PSAL season for the sport of double dutch leading us to become 2009-2010 PSAL Double Dutch Champions ! & the Divas will be performing with us (Stan's World Champion Pepper Steppers) in an upcoming show ! Stan's Pepper Steppers & the Double Dutch Divas. It don't get no better!

Don't be so cynical. If you were walking passed you'd stop much in the same way that you browsed you tube and stopped for a look at the EXOTIC NY girls!. If you want to see Exotic double dutch then you have to look at Japan who love it and usually win the WC's.
I'm recommending that Double Dutch be my ade into an Olympic sport instead of golfing(?!?!?!). Come friend request me at Chance Rodeo Battlehawk on Facebook... Peace!

Well most of that was impossible so it must be done with CGI. Too bad they hadn’t invented CGI yet.
very good!
