We need a channel dedicated to Olajuwon highlights. This man was top good, those who did not see him play, like me, deserve a chance to see this Legend
I actually started my yt channel due to him about 11 years ago, which sadly got terminated last year. I think I probably had the most Olajuwon highlight vids up in yt at the time. Hopefully I can continue it here in my new channel, I've got lots more Dream stuff to share!
As someone that personally had to watch my team be defeated 2 years in a row and block them from winning a title in both seasons the Rockets won i can say that Hakeem was quite simply breath taking. His arsenal in the post will never be duplicated by someone his size. Although, i will agree he definitely deserves more love on this channel.
Hakeem literally destroyed the hall of fame centers in this era at one point or another. Insane how he made guys like Shaq, Robinson, Mourning and Ewing look like nobodies.
this kind of game was actually good for Ewing and the Knicks because not only Ewing was a little scared of Hakeem, most of the time he got the ball too far from the basket and even in face-up stance which he was not familiar with. The next year Ewing and the Knicks improved significantly on that front.
No, Dream was simply better. It was similar to the comparison they tried to make between MJ and Drexler. Sometimes the other guy is on the next level and there's nothing u can do about it. There's a reason Dream is top 10 on almost every list and Patrick respectfully is around 100.
@@jmar5127 At that time pat's knees are bad and getting worse. Between elite players that is big problem. If he's knees condition kept 92 season, he could fight better. But I agree with your opinion, hakeem's whole career is better than ewing.
Ewing had a better team around him, Pat Riley had beasts like Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason rotating on Olajuwon and grinding him down, and they still only were able to hold him to 27 pts per game LOL
@@ThePrayinmantiz the 1994 Knicks had 3 all stars on the team (Ewing, Oakley, Starks) Hakeem was the only all star on the Rockets. And the Rockets did not double team Ewing lol. Shut up kid, you clearly don’t know what you’re talking bout.

@@MDBBalllol I can tell you had a Hakeem in mind when making this channel. Happy News years brother
👍 Happy New Year boss!
There are many channels based on him. Where have you been?

Absolutely, those centers didn't have a chance to stop Olajuwon.
Bullshit other than that western conference finals David Robinson always had solid games against Hakeem period
He beat Ewing, Robinson, and Shaq handily in 94 and 95
I've seen interviews with all of them, ewing, shaq, mourning, robinson, eaton, every single one says hakeem was the hardest player to guard.
BEEN A ROCKETS 🚀 FAN SINCE 88 89 HAKEEM THE DR34M OLAJUWON IS THE BEST CENTER IN ALL OF NBA HISTORY
Correct
olajuwon was son dominant and so strong my godness !!
Man I miss this era of NBA games
Hakeem got the victory on Ewing in this regular season game at MSG and in the NBA finals in game 3 at MSG.
Different years
The title is not a joke. Hakeem did dominate this one on one matchup vs Patrick Ewing in every stat category.
Ewing is not greater than Olajuwon.
Roughly 6 months later these 2 teams played each other in this building for what became known as the "OJ Simpson game" during the 1994 Finals.
Game 5, which was the last Knicks win that season. Probably bad karma for them.
@@KWCline91 2-3-2 format was a disadvantage for them
Defense and rebound count too..😂

Patrick's knee problem is difference between pat and dream.

Ewing average 19 points. 12 rebounds and 4.3 blocks on bad knees against Hakeem in that series

@mua2 - Ewing didn't have. Better team...and Ewing was also double teamed and I also i see you left out all the other stat and with no knees.🤣

Dream was Jordan playing Center.
