I can't believe we live in a world where Psychonauts 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, Pikmin 4 and Metroid Dread have all released before we even got another trailer for BGAE2.
The moment you see those characters, you haven't seen since you were kid, is so heartwarming... I can barely hold back my tears. BGE was definitely a masterpiece of its time.
Still interesting story, but other parts aged poorly. I bought it on GOG to relive childhood and camera/movement is your worst enemy. I forgot how crappy combat was. But everything else holds very good till this days.
If Jade has any kind of speaking role in BG&E2, do not expect her to sound the same as she did in BG&E1. Her original VA sadly died a few months back due to an illness. :(
Well from what I remember Pey'J was one of the leading members of the resistance Double H was a part of in the first game so maybe if we see the resistance being set up we may see Double H.
As you know or don't know Joddi Forrest the voice of Jade in Beyond Good & Evil passed away in 2017. It feels like at 3:29 that was Pey'js last time saying Jade's name, take it as a farwell or a good bye, Rest in Peace Joddi/Jade.

SPOILERS. Purely speculation, but it's likely this is how Jade loses her memory of being the Dom'z leader, or perhaps even the creation of the Dom'z. Pey'j doesn't have anything wrong with his hand which counters the final scene after the first game's credits, which theoretically means that this all takes place prior to the events of the first game. Double-H is nowhere to be found either. The Dom'z high priest told her that "they turned you human." Which has always been a mysterious line that remains unanswered. Maybe this game focuses on Jade's backstory before setting up with Pey'j at the lighthouse. Pey'j still recognises her too, so it's likely he really was good friends with her parents, sharing an affinity with her father for engineering, and cooking meals for the four of them during her youth. Can't. Wait. To. Play. This. Fxking. Game. And. Find. Out.
Look at first trailer, you can see a woman as a capitan (end of video), it could be Jade. She has robotic arm, maybe it's after some battle with our protagonist. Or maybe before, maybe DoomZ repaired her. Dude cant wait to play the game...
Both of their trailers put to shame the other developers/studios in terms of quality, visuals, sound, textures. I mean hell you can see the texture of the nails of the Doctor in this!

The animating ability these days is simply breath taking...simply amazing. I do not know about in game graphics or when it's actually out, but I can not wait.

A very easy to miss detail, but a lie nonetheless. If you're keen-eyed enough to notice the swelling in the areas above and below his eye, you'll notice that it is reminiscent of a NEARLY fully-healed scar. They didn't remove it; they hid the thing.
Constant internet connection in an open world single player game, even if you not using coop? Does Ubisoft understand that it will literaly kill the game?
That's all I needed. Was worried about not seeing Jade or Pey'j in the previous demo/trailers. Now that we have them back I will absolutely be buying this game.
There are so many things that I absolutely love, but the thing I want to praise is the sound. The noise of the rock wave and the ambience of each section of the ship was so immersive. The best part was the announcing groan of what I can only assume is an Alpha Section's ship. It was absolutely inspired from the MUTOs with it's creaking and clicking, and it was absolutely terrifying. Gives me goosebumps no matter how many times I watch it. THIS is why I love this game already and it is why Ubisoft deserves every congratulation it can get when it creates things this artistic and badass

For everyone being confused about Jade, it's stated in the first game that she is one of the DomZ, therefore she's not human and it's pretty much possible that she can exist in that game.
If I remember correctly, the big bad of Beyond Good and Evil 1, the DomZ Priest, said that Jade was part of Him and the source of his power. He was dying, and be whole with Jade again would have save him. From that point of view, it's not difficult to imagine that Darth Jade is another Jade than our good ol' Jade.
Who else is watching this in 2021? And hoping that even if Ancel left (Toxic working environment) and Netflix announced it was making it into a movie (Director of Detective Pikachu) THAT THEY ARE STILL MAKING THIS BEAUTIFULICIOUS GAME?
