This is the type of “best bang for your buck” makeup I’ve been looking for! Not necessarily products under $5 but maybe a pricier product that lasts all day so I don’t need to buy a portable powder to carry around with me. Or an eyeshadow with a stopper and a multipurpose formula which c an be used for eyes cheeks lips!

I dig this idea, a series would be great. It would help someone not buying a dupe that is ‘close’, less in amount, shade range, formulation versus ingredients only, etc. Sometimes something you might have to save for could end up being less than a dupe, I’ve seen that a fee times. It’s 2AM and I’m babbling but I’m with you on this Amanda

I have ritz by colourpop and I use it as a topper ALL the time. I have now placed an order for the DM celebration colour because it will complement my blue eyes.
I’ve had that rare beauty blush for nearly 3 years and I’m only half way done with it gonna have to declutter it bc of the smell but no lies were told you really need so little

Dalton just came out with a set with Jen Phelps and she made a face brush that looks just like that BK beauty brush and it's only ten bucks it's a set of five brushes for fifty bucks she has small hooded eyes also in the handles are absolutely beautiful like a underwater marbled affect
Just to fix a typo that I imagine wasn't your fault Tonya. The brush manufacturer that Jen Phelps collaborated with to design them are Doll10. It's 2 face brushes and 3 eye brushes.

Would luv to see Asian makeup/skin care. Some of the best products I ever used are their sunscreens and BB creams. Just wanted to say I love your channel your tips and suggestions. My only issue is that I’m going to be 70 love make up will continue to wear it but a lot of the products just don’t work on my skin texture. It’s an ongoing problem. Especially the eye make up even with the creams still not working always open for tips and suggestions on this issue. Thank you as always you do a great job girl.!

For me, better quality always beats price. Sometimes high end is just a better deal when you factor in price per ounce and overall performance. I'll gladly pay top dollar for my brow pencil because my brows are a weird color and so far i can't find a good color match at the drugstore. On the opposite end, I've tried many a high end tinted moisturizer and on my skin nothing beats the Wet and Wild Tinted Hydrator. I also agree with you on your statement about just because a product if affordable, if the quality isn't there in the long run you're just wasting your money. I really see it in eyeshadow. Once my best friend convinced me to buy a Natasha Denona palette i really saw how absolutely that product is worth every penny 🙂 lastly, once i bought quality brushes i literally threw away every single cheap brush in my collection. Quality brushes are a total game changer and for me, make application easier and the final results better which is definitely worth the money because they last longer. I've had my Sigma brushes for years and they still perform like i bought them yesterday.

I agree with your first two recommendations 100%. And on the "space cowboy dupe" (my words) I learned with space cowboy to not spend too much time spreading. Pat and pat quickly and move on. If I don't then I have fallout. I suspect that has a bearing with the color pop one too.

Yes, to a long-wearing eye makeup routine video and a Part 2 Asian video!!! I bought some concealers from YesStyle and I was shocked at how affordable and the shade matches were (it's from I'm Unny shade 1 for undereyes and 1.5 for my face). I stopped using Nars Radiant and Creamy Concealer like 6-7 years ago (too deep/yellow for me) and was using Laura Mercier's liquid concealer. The I'm Unny concealer is like Laura Mercier's but thinner and more pigment so you can sheer out or build more layers! I highly recommend!

Please do a video on how to make liquid blush last for 10 hours or more. I love cream blush but I haven't figured out how to make it hold up for more than 5ish hours. I go to work in the morning at 7 and by noon it is patchy.

Loreal hydra powder it's a better version of bare minerals with 20 × the amount of product. so awesome as a setting powder for dry skin. I found out about it from a wedding mua years ago .and have always had a fair and medium tone since.

I have no idea why the DM colorfix mattes has never lasted on me for longer than 6 hours with any eyeshadow primer - their colours are so pretty and you only need a little bit though!! ☺️

I love your makeup style and even when I don't have the budget right now for a lot of things, I love to see the quality of the products that you describe... However, I'm gonna pass and the idea of a luxury leash curler, I'm being using the same coffee spoon for at least 10 years now 😅🙈 I always get a nice curl, and I never break my lashes... I know is something really strange for most people, but it's really common in Mexico
I don't experience fallout with colourpop Ritz but my space cowboy rains down even with glitter glue! 😅 wish I could figure it out.
I tried it out at Ulta and I definitely see the glitter issue. Way too over priced for what it is.
@Alex If I didn't have the fallout issue then I don't have an issue with the price (but I also waited for a sale lol) I think the finer glitter beats Ritz on the eyes, but you can't go wrong for the budget price of colourpop, it's an amazing shadow I'm glad I have it. But yeah, I feel like my technique is off because it doesn't have this issue for everyone 😅

I have absolutely no idea how people use the Rare Beauty blush. I just sold mine. It was always patchy & going absolutely dry on me the moment I put it on, giving me no time to spread it. And I use a highly emollient foundation... :/
Just curious, did you have one of the original mattes or one of the luminous shades?

@Katarzvna I've only tried the luminous version and it's very easy to work with as long as I remember how little I need. I don't blame you for wanting to move on to something else, though.

i am in no way trying to come off as rude when asking this & i know there are still going to be people that take it as such. are you intentionally leaving your brows in the kind of messy bushy look with the very dark but sparsely growing hairs in the unibrow zone? i’ve noticed it in a few videos & i WISH my brows would grow like this so i could trim them to my desired look but i wondered if you just kept them like that because you like the look of it?
also, for a halloween look, you’d kill as Frida Kahlo with those brows
