Not a huge jeep guy but I can appreciate these way over the top jeeps. The mall crawlers I like to refer to as Ghettoriffic, meaning they look like something a guy in the ghetto would build so everyone can see him but has no intention of ever going offroad. So dare I say it...cant wait for the Toyota video.
Some vehicles are built simply to be a peacock basically. Hey look at me. They aren't the fastest or best on gas or the most comfortable to drive....I dont mind them if they are done with skill.
@@mixflip I'm sure most of your mall crawler hating subs would dislikeit it,but I'd love a mixflip video on some of the over the top builds too. Keep the content coming my man, I'm a fan of all things SEMA
Really enjoyed the video mixflip. I just looked at a 2018 this past weekend. If it had been the granite grey with the hard top I would have gotten in trouble. I’m trying to hold out until early 2019. However the temptation is great. I may have to come to SEMA next year. Perfect excuse for me to get back out to Vegas.
I've gone back and forth on picking a jeep wrangler or a toyota of some type. I used to have a CJ7 in Hawaii and I went lie....I miss it even 20 years later.
The rego 4x4 look really cool, and the jeep camper at the start the guy wouldn't let you see in it looked cool . Why they didn't have it so you could see in it idk , a bad advertising move to me. Cool vid .
The old CJ amazing. The wagoner sexy as anything. For the most part all others just over done and no true use off roaring. The rooftop hard tops are nice.
burden74 The last I saw, Sandstorm was a complete custom job by Evo. Axles and all. It would be sweet if Mopar came out with something close to what they did with Sandstorm.
Visual Jeep overdose!! I did have to chuckle at the Jeeps with useless stuff bolted on versus Jeeps with useful stuff bolted on. For example, hood mounted lights that look sexy but only serve to light up your hood at night, making it virtually impossible to see the trail. Oh well, what do they say about a fool and his money? Those portal axles...daaaaannngggg!!!
I don't know how many variants of portal axles there are but I still remember one owner at SEMA tell me his set of portal axles cost him $60,000 dollars on his Mercedes G wagon.
They started a new design center in MI Detroit.... This center will be responsible for their future models design and development... They also own the famous italian design center , Pininfarina...
@@Luttu2011 Other than the radiator needs to be bigger on my Mahindra tractor that they also make it is a good little tractor. I have to stop in summer and let it cool down , clean the radiator more often.
Fab Four products are hideous. New grumper looks like a Pokémon character. I'm convinced their objective is to intentionally make the ugliest armor in the aftermarket & prove they can still make money. Their products are are an abomination. I understand that SEMA builds are done over the top to grab attention but then consumers see these blingged out builds and want to replicate what they saw at show, then go home and try to put 42" tires on a Dana 30, not even realizing that majority of these builds are made for show.
A "Jeep" has next to no bells and whistles, at least that's what the intent was when "adults" own them. Now children and men-children need every luxury item. Jeep died in '06. These pansy editions from '07 and on are Grand Cherokee luxury garbage being passed off as Wranglers. This incessant need to build up Jeeps that will never see dirt is absolutely retarted. Because every pavement princess needs 40's w/ a 6+" lift and every suspension aftermarket upgrade to keep up with total strangers. Jeep owners have been brain washed into thinking they actually need all of this shit when a good set of AT BFG's will cover 95% of what they will do off road, on snow and beach and dune wheelin.

The Roxor is more like a CJ5 then it is a Willies. But then again it more like a CJ body on a side by side frame.

Nice video. Would have been nice to see some XJ's TJ's BU's and the rest. But hey I know it's a JK & JL world out there in the land of Jeeps.
There's usually at least one XJ and I spotted one Cj which was the Tonka Jeep.
Really nice coverage. Thanks

I bet the Rego IFS lift is $10,000.00 or more. Too many low points. I would be interested to see how it does off road.
