- I went to Aruba in December 2021 and it's where I completely fell in love with sunrises and sunsets. Why am I posting this two years later? Imposter Syndrome. It took some convincing to edit this and to FINALLY share it which took SO long but after many many hours of editing (and convincing myself to do so), I'm so happy to share this vlog with you!
I had so much fun in Aruba! This trip was supposed to be chill and relaxing so I could reset and re-focus on my goals (with a nice view at the beach or pool). BUT I completely fell in love with the beauty of this tiny island and everything it had to offer. So much that I ended up packing my days, turning it into a fun explorative trip!
I noted in the vlog that some of the COVID regulations I mentioned no longer apply but just a reminder that this was filmed in December 2021.

I just booked my solo trip to Aruba last week. I’m gonna make sure I purchase weights for my tripod because I’m gonna have to get all my own footage too. I was a little nervous about staying at a Airbnb solo but I see you’ve done it successfully.✨🙏🏾👏🏽✈️
LOL that is a must! I'm surprised I didn't break anything the amount of times my tripod fell. I got pretty lucky. It was a real cheap one though at the time

Aruba is paradise on earth...been there 3 times so far...aching to go back. It's good that you got to go and better than not having gone at all, but it is so much better going with someone so that you can share your experiences later on. Tip for the next trip...get a muff for your microphone. It'll eliminate the wind noise.
I actually recorded that entire vlog on my phone (Samsung S20). I have a better set up now and just got a muff this week! Thanks for the tip :)
