The Santa Class needed to be very very far down on the list. I"m an accountant and I want to see their financials that could possibly justify those expenses, and her decision to keep it running, when their main competitor is a hop skip and a jump away from them. Also, the puppet santa was annoying AF. The Christmas Quest was sort of a snooze. I love Polaha but this one wasn't great. I would like just for once, that a treasure hunt yields actual treasure, not cheap trinkets that remind us all of the value of family and love. lol. Also, why was there a family of people guarding this non-treasure? And who lit the candles in that cave no one's been in for centuries?
Watching live now…it makes me already look forward to this year’s movies. Good crop this year…great video again. This is why they call you the aficionado!
Im glad to see Sugarplummed top your list . It was my favorite Hallmark Christmas movie of the year too and it could be turned into a franchise real easily.
@ChristmasAficionado My husband and I thought the concept was ok, but the female lead was not convincing, just reactive. The pacing was too slow. There was no chemistry.
@ChristmasAficionado I too watched all of the movies. Am not sure which was my fave but I do remember thinking that this year's Xmas movies seemed to be less than past years.
It's really hard for me to iron out the middle movies, lots of mediocrity in there. My list is: The Santa Class Sugarplummed The Christmas Quest The Finnish Line Hanukkah on the Rocks Trading Up Christmas Santa Tell Me 'Twas the Date Before Christmas Three Wiser Men And A Boy Deck the Walls Jingle Bell Run Following Yonder Star Our Holiday Story Believe in Christmas Operation Nutcracker A Carol for Two A Reason for the Season Holiday Mismatch The 5-Year Christmas Party All I Need for Christmas Christmas On Call Trivia at St. Nick's Christmas with the Singhs The Christmas Charade Holiday Crashers Leah's Perfect Gift Confessions of a Christmas Letter A Very Vermont Christmas Unwrapping Christmas: Tina's Miracle A Novel Noel Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story Happy Howlidays A Dance in the Snow Falling Like Snowflakes Unwrapping Christmas: Mia's Prince A '90s Christmas Unwrapping Christmas: Olivia's Reunion Happy Holidays From Cherry Lane 'Tis the Season to Be Irish Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle Unwrapping Christmas: Lily's Destiny Scouting for Christmas Christmas Under the Lights My Sweet Austrian Holiday To Have and to Holiday Private Princess Christmas Five Gold Rings This Time Each Year Happy Holidays From Cherry Lane Deck the Halls on Cherry Lane Season's Greetings from Cherry Lane
@@ChristmasAficionado yeah the bottom 5 or 6 I actively did not want to sit through but in general I had a great time. It's wild seeing some of the early ones, I felt like I watched those a year ago at this point.
The four movies from this past year which I absolutely loved were: Sugarplummed (although I think the actress playing Sugarplum totally ripped off the acting of Amy Adams in Enchanted). Santa Tell Me (loved the three guys she was dating, and Santa was kind of a dick to her. lol. A 90's Christmas. I was surprised this wasn't higher on your list. Loved everything about it, although......the multiple multiple heartfelt conversations between sisters and mom could have been brought down to 2-3 teary emotional scenes, instead of the 10+ emotional heartfelt scenes we got. Twas the Date Before Christmas. The chemistry between the two leads and the casting of the family and the wild family activities made this one enjoyable. I think you're right, though....this year was a bit.....MEH. So many throwaway movies.
So what do you think? Did I get the order right? Remember this is my opinion, and this is all in good fun.

Honored that two movies I worked on made the top 6! Awesome video-- so happy you enjoyed! Cheers!
You killed it this year with the Christmas movies. Can't wait to see what you have coming next!

Thank you!
I don’t know anything about Hallmark movies, but I’d thought I’d stop by and drop a like. 🎉
Thank you!

I want to see another movie, but worry it will ruin it.
Agree with Sugarplummed. Janel created an iconic character.
It was a great overall performance
I cannot believe that Hallmark even thinks about casting a major actor like Tyler Hines in such a sub-par movie as the 'Chiefs Love Story'. I cringed
Interesting take. I thought the movie was great. What didn't you like about it?
@ChristmasAficionado My husband and I thought the concept was ok, but the female lead was not convincing, just reactive. The pacing was too slow. There was no chemistry.
I thought Hunter was so good. Especially the scene with her grandfather
A Novel Noel was nowhere near the worst movie though!!! Not even close.
It was awful. Dumb story. Couldn't get over it
I liked it
I liked it! Not nearly that low on the list for me.
I hated Sugarplummed. Tried 3 times to get through it. I never did.
I loved it so much. What was your favorite?

@@igneousc Mediocrity. That's the word that best describes most of these movies.
We had more good than bad

if 90s Christmas took place in the early 90s I would have loved it. In 1999 I was in my 20s and truthfully feels like yesterday.
