It'll be fine now the tracker has been disconnected but make sure your insurer is aware or as a minimum you stick a monimoto somewhere. Had I found your channel earlier I'd have popped over to show you how to sort it you are very local. GS911 or motoscan & dongle worth looking at 👍 Maybe look at a mudsling to if not fitted already.
My bike’s been sat for 2 months now and it started up yesterday no issues . I’ve bought a Yuasa instead of the BMW one I’ve not got it hooked to a trickle charger. When it had the BMW battery , on charge , I had 2 fail. Would start it , but if I went to petrol station a mile down the road it wouldn’t start . Try not to lug the bike . I was told it can shorten the shaft life ( 6 gear at low speeds ) Enjoy. Hopefully all your battery woes are behind you
Tracker on the bike ! Surely one way or another you should have an app or the paperwork for it ? And BMW should have pointed this out on hand over which again should have been in your hand over pack. BMW nav’s have mixed reviews and one of the faults is the screen locks out quite a lot. My opinion is take some time out re what you actually want from a nav and review options from what other bikers are advising and make your decision from there.
The Garmin 660 fits the cradle but will not connect to the wiz wheel. Same with the Garmin XT and XT2 but you need a 3D adapte for these., Both lock to the cradle but I always take mine off when I leave the bike,
If the battery was one of them shite lithium ones they shut down when they get to a low voltage and you need a charger that will wake up the lithium battery before it starts to charge it. I got rid of mine and bought a yuasa battery and no more problems
Mine has alarm and tracker fitted from day1 had it 3 years now and never had a issue. Definitely recommend a optimate 4 with the din cabus charging ..as for nav I changed it out for a tomtom 550 .. I got some videos of mods iv done ect on my channel if your intresed ..happy new year to you .
Sat nav wise I use the new BMW one on my bikes but a friend has a chiggee that works with the wonder wheel & has CarPlay. It’s pretty impressive. I also tried a carpuride & limes that but the chiggee is definitely better. I like the BMW one but it was @£600
Great vlog shaun

Trackers and alarms will certainly kill the battery on any bike not used on a regular basis, the guys at Vertu will keep you right enjoy the bike.

Thanks for the info!
I wouldn’t bother with a trickle charger mine has killed two batteries before I realised what was doing it
