If you're using an online paraphrasing tool it will still most likely detect it. However, you could still use chatgpt to help you come up with a general idea for a paper or some sentences. But, I wouldn't be to worried about the ai detection. Turnitin claims to have a 98% confidence and around 1% false positives, but most of the other available ai detection sites are horrible, and to my understanding turnitin's ai detection hasn't been peer reviewed. Zerogpt is one of the most popular ai detection sites and it thinks parts of the constitution were written by ai. Hopefully lecturers understand that this is all just a cash grab by turnitin and are skeptical with this software.
Yes
No, I would prefer to write in my own way using the ideas in any case if someone submit same kind of answers then it might catch .
@@winden3 I don't get you

why doesnt my turnit have this feature?
It’s crazy how much the academic environment has changed since I left. I’m glad professors are focused on keeping everyone honest and pushing students to earn their degrees.
📌 If anyone need turnitin instructor account with AI detection check my bio
The tool is awful, it gave me a high percentage of copying yet almost all of it was referenced and some stuff which was ‘copied’ was literally the most generic phrases you can think of
Seems like a way to discriminate against students
Already submitted my essay. Looks like I'll be called up. Cmon I just want that degree and nothing else
hey, what happened ? I also submitted and can’t sleep bc of the fear of getting called up 😂
in turnitin can students see if their work has ai detected in it or can only teachers see that function?
i dont know but i cant see it on mine and apparently i use ai and got accused of plagerisum
When student get AI detection result ? Does they get it after getting their marks or when?
I don't have the ai detector on mine?
In my view, TurnItIn proves largely ineffective for various reasons. Whether you compose the content yourself or not, the platform frequently identifies errors and incorrectly flags material as AI-generated, even when it isn't.
I just tried it and ye it does some bs I literally wrote the New moon appears once every 10 years once in summer, winter, spring, and fall and it flagged it as ai and I literally pulled this false statement from the ground 😂 literally shows even you make up a false story then its still ai
How do I get turnitin as a student?
you really can‘t detect AI writing with 100 % proof tho
Is the AI checking tool available to students?
Using Undetectable AI can't detect by turnitin! Tested!
Hi so i have just done a essay i dont use AI whatsover but while doing my essay and putting it through Turnitin my essay howoever did not get any simalarity/ plagarism whatsover but my references list did and i am really confused why this is happening if anyone else went through this please let me know what you did to get rid of the simalarity on your references list!!
A little late but don’t worry about that. As someone who used to grade college papers and was required to use Turnitin, Turnitin is known for that. The very thing you do, quotes, in-text citations, references, to not plagiarize, Turnitin marks it. It’s a nothing burger. Your Professor didn’t filter Turnitin results like omitting similarity results for reference list.
@biggreen9845 makes sense ! Thank you so much 😊
turnitin detection can be avoided if you’re gonna use humanizer tools like Undetectable AI.
is Undetectable AI really working well? cuz i tried to put something that is totally generated by AI and it detects 100% human
If it's so accurate then why is it only available for educators and why has Grammarly been triggering that the content is AI generated.
EXACTLY SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME AND I ONLY USE GRAMMARLY TO HELP ME OUT
Are you saying that grammarly gets flagged as using ai?
Did you get flagged for using grammarly?? Please reply
@@johnnymoose6072 it’s been hit and miss for me. I had one paper come out 100% with TurnItIn AI and others I only have a few percentage points.
@@johnnymoose6072yes just merely fixing punctuation will classify it as ai its ridiculous
somthing cathced my attention at the end when you said that it doesn't do a good job, but perhaps you don't know how to use it, anyways the topic of ai and plagiarism has many things to be told about it, we will leave it there for now
Ask Ai and write from Ai don't copy
It can't be problem
you sure?
@@ChiragDBeastsyes it worked for me my teacher accused me of using chatgpt when I use Grammarly to help with my punctuation and wording :/ so on my exam I had my other computer and went on Grammarly and typed what I was going to say, then on my other computer that I was using I wanted to see if there was a difference and there 100 percent was. AI detection is helpful but not a 100 percent accurate 🥲
@@EarthBounddimpossible bruh I type it in and it still says 89 percent ai generated I legit pulled a general knowledge of physics that Both Energy and Work are 1 joule but Energy is the amount of work needed to be done and Work is the the amount of energy needed to be done. To calculate the force of an object it you would use the formula F= m x a. These exact words and even when I type it in my own words it still says it's ai generated I'm done bruh
why my turnitin doesnt have the ai percentage?
Some universities don't allow students to see it
This AI tracker bs is inaccurate af.
I heard students will use special characters in their AI essays to bypass turnitin. For example, a student might use a letter from a foreign alphabet that looks exactly like the letter C. Is there a video showing how Turnitin can detect special characters?
is there anyway i could reach out to you by email?
Teachers would be soon replaced by AI. AI is our new teacher... bye bye 😅
Hi Prof. I want to ask is there a minimum or pass score for AI generated text on Turnitin?
Because I got *15%
(*) low scores have a higher likelihood of false positives
is this score okay? or do I have to make it 0%?
Rewrite your essay, kid.
i want turnitin
I caught six students in two days with this. I asked two of them to fix it if they did use AI and to resubmit, and they did resubmit! GUILTY!
Those students were lazy, they should used quillbot and did some manual paraphrasing
@@SavvyForever If AI generated content is paraphrased, can Turnitin detect it?
Congratulations mr wilson now your life has meaning
Try that on me, and hold me guilty for that writing. Everything is AI, even you paste book paragraph in AI, it became part of AI because AI works on past memories, so everything you put is became the part of its memory even book chapter or Paragraph. You can't comprehend whether a text presented in a document came from AI, or Book Source. Try it yourself.
@@khaledurrahmanarfat6197 no it can't
