Theory: If Nicholas Bourbaki // the Bourbaki group has nothing to do with the Niners, but everything at the same time, wouldn’t that correlate to the names of the Niners themselves? The names (Nico, Keons, etc.) all sound like gibberish but are actually taken from songs off of Blurryface. Which raises another important point: They were named after Blurryface for seemingly no reason, just like the Bourbaki group. But the difference is, They’re named after Blurryface because they DO have a correlation to him-Clancy is trying to escape Dema // the bishops, just like Tyler was fleeing from Blurryface by the end of the album. Idk this all made sense in my head I hope it makes sense to some of you !!

Now that I remember it's very important to say that I feel a big difference of how Josh play the drums in Trench and how it sounds better. The way the drums add a whole layer to the song that can't be given form other than Josh is awesome.
I like this interviewer a lot more than a few of the others we’ve seen all the sudden recently how e v e r, I realize that Tyler automatically deemed as the “main man” and assumed to have all the answers to the types of questions she started asking (which obviously he did) but especially with Josh having done all of those independent interviews, it’d be good to have more questions directed at just him or both of them collectively
I welcome every member of the band to chime in when I do interviews but Tyler wrote/produced the album so there are some things that only he can answer.

Nalbis, in his video breakdown of the album said that the Nicolas Bourbaki group centred themselves around the idea of topology meaning that no matter can really change when you get down to it. That it doesn’t matter how much something may “morph” it will have the same characteristics and behaviours. Much like The idea in TOPs song morph that Nicolas Bourbaki is trying to impose on Tyler telling him he belongs to that theory. No matter how he changes he can’t escape his insecurities and fears and all the negativity. Anyways, this is a theory that I didn’t create but I think makes sense and gives a deeper meaning to the album so figure out how you take it.
