I am so glad to see and hear that I am not the only one who loved Elizabeth and Meg her daughter!!! I too never got to meet Elizabeth Z, but the yarn shop I always went to was able to do a mini retreat featuring Meg!! What a wonderful time we all had!!!! Meg brought movies with her and her mom!! I have always loved and treaured my two books from Elizabeth Z. Back then she was so busy with way to many retreats and many other obligations but she signed all our books which we ordered before Meg came and Meg had all our books all Autographed by Elizabeth!!! I still use the measurements!!!! I was in my 40's back then and now I am almost 80! Unfortunatly my books are gone now! That's another story!! In fact all my knitting books are gone!!!! I just recently was given a couple of crochet hooks and some yarn and now I want knitting needles!!! I became a master knitter way back when I managed a knit shop!! I taught knitting, crocheting, machine knitting and a wee bit of spinning!! Also I taught a class at the University on wool, shearing and breeds and all that stuff!! I will let you go and rest your eyes!! I get very carried away with writting!! Right now I am crocheting 100 hats, all different for a dialisis center in my area!! As well as, 100 hats for my doctors office to be given to the patients who really need the hats !!! I love being able to donate especially to those who really are like myself ! I can only use Acrylic yarns but my fingers are screaming for some nice wool blends!! Oh well maybe before I die!!! I would love to know more about your yarn shop!!! Like where are you located and do you do mail order?? Etc. Thank you for taking the time to write back to me and I can hardly wait to watch more videos!!

I'm on my 16th chicken. My favorite so far is the Lone Range Hen. She has a small cowboy hat, mask, tiny red scarf and a blue laced up shirt. They are contagious to make but NOT as great as the real chickens. We just had 22 hatch; all varieties and cuddling them is so much greater. Don't like the poop under the fingernails, though.
She sounds wonderful. Please feel free to share pictures of your brood. I had pet chickens when I was a child. They are great!

How much does the Ito (and other noro yarns) cost in the US? With the European prices, I feel it is almost blasphemous to use it to make a chicken (no matter how lovely) :D
It is crazy good. But you are right. The chicken can be done with 2 skeins of Kureyon @ $10.95 each US.
